I see there has been talk about the rights and wrongs of asking if this is a buy or not. Personally I have no problem if someone wants to make a recommendation it's up to the questioner to take responsibility for any subsequent actions. I very much expect that this will come good but do I know it will? Of course not. There are still some risks. These drills could fail to significantly improve early years economics and there's hydrology to complete for example. I've also mentioned many times that we are yet to put all deleterious elements to bed, LR insists that we can't put meaningful figures on impurities until we have smelter compatibility but that shouldn't stop them from telling us what they have detected IMO.

What a typically cretinous comment from Gam - mining has taken place profitably bang next door without ore sorting technology. The EBITA is currently $471m and with our history of operational success I expect that to improve markedly in the PFS. You think the PEA is throwing useless information at us? Ha Steve goodness knows, for me the valuation is utterly ridiculous but when the market generally cottons on I couldn't say. Just to reiterate some recent discussions we have a Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu mine a short stroll away which was economic from 1935-1983. Toral has similar mineralisation but will exploit value in lower grades with modern technology, the stars are aligning for us but 17 trades today just shows that the market generally is unconvinced. What I find really odd is that we could interest institutions at 12.75p in the placing but after a positive PEA there seems to be no appetite at lower levels.

As long as this campaign is successful in improving the early years economics and we can get funds to prove that the LOM will be much more than 12 years I think we'll be worth way more than £50m one day. As this is a multi drill campaign does anyone know if cores will be going for assay drill by drill or all together at the end. Just wonder if results might inform the strategy as they go along though I can see this would seriously lengthen the timeline to complete.

Oh well bit of a dreary day - looks like the big boys are showing Reddit who's boss in the silver market (currently -6.5%), though I note all precious metals have not done well today. Looks like we're ticking down if the 10.10's are sells and the 10.4's are buys I guess we should be 10.00-10.50 not 10.00-11.00, unless there's a glorious late rally :)

Definitely, just for perspective the value of our silver in the PEA applied to these prices is something like 20x the current mcap. From what I've read it will be harder for retail even in numbers to force a short squeeze on the commodity markets. Looks like Silver is coming back a bit now after earlier highs but there should be real fundamental supply/demand support in the long run regardless of the Reddit publicity.

Blimey silver hit $30/oz just as an indication what that means for us, if silver remains stable in this new range the revenue (not profit) from silver alone in this single relatively small part of our licence has a value approaching our current NPV and off the top of my head 20x our mcap - just the silver which remember is only currently 7% of the total value of all our products.

..... so far for silver. Possibly the Reddit effect is having a short term impact but I expect strong supply demand fundamentals to underpin the price on a long cycle. Just another little positive snippet of a Sunday evening, Lundin's residual rights over Toral have always nagged at me to an extent but the two one-off payments plus future smelter royalties are baked into the Bara economics I can confirm.

Do you think that any deal announced between now and the PFS will be provisional to delivery of a successful PFS? No reason to think it won't be delivered but everything hangs on the PFS endorsing the work and recommending proceeding to development. A deal concluded before PFS carries more risk for the other party and could be less favourable to us.

CHRI5P in the example you cite with EUA was the remuneration transparent at the outset of the appointment? I'm hopeful that this signals something positive is in the pipeline but until we see how a deal is structured and what it's costing us either in lending terms or how much of the asset is leaving our clutches the jury is out. The optimist in me suggests that LR & MC must have a very good reason for making this call now and they'll have our interests uppermost, I even wonder whether a proposal has already been made and that prompted them to find someone with the additional skill sets to negotiate. On placings I note that in that 2017 presentation I posted yesterday FCR / EUZ had a stated cash position of $0.4, we were woefully short of cash to deliver Toral as a viable mine and in retrospect heavy dilution was inevitable. Anyway looking forward we now have the metallurgy and indicated resource for these long vaunted non-equity funding options to be realised, only time will tell how attractive or otherwise the transaction is.

Enzo I'll resist the motoring reference as the first rule of AIM investing is that mention things that go round on four wheels and a stock will be certain to crash :) I'm not sure from your post if you are mistaken or not but while Rubiales and Antonina are in our region the Rubiales mine is definitely not on our licence. After musing about the possibility of whether Antonina's remaining ore could be economically extracted thanks to ore sorting technology I did try to locate it on Google Earth without success. There is a photograph of the mine on the website and you can see it is visibly close to Toral but I'm not sure of the exact co-ordinates or whether we have rights to it. My best guess is that it is outside of our licence to the north but it would be interesting to know whether the remaining reserves could benefit from 21st C ore sorting.
