Bought in this morning after reading both the interims & acquisition RNS’s. This share ticks every box for me;

- Strong & accelerating growth trajectory
- Hugely positive macro factors in the industry
- Ambitious M&A strategy as evidenced today
- Cheap in relation to all other AIM listed peers
- Directors have a decent stake at ~7%

Target price of 500p on an initial 2 year timeframe.

Exactly, much better to close it then recover - €5.16 is the level. There will no doubt be shorters who opened just for this purpose / target. Also very possible Voleon have increased their short at €6.30 to offset earlier losses and will close entirely very soon.

The last para from the July 22nd NPT RNS is below;

“Also part of the NPT system is the Company's recently developed direct-to-PCR extraction kit (exsig(TM) Direct), which extracts RNA from patient samples and further reduces the number of workflow steps. As a result, the NPT system is ideally suited to applications in mobile settings, such as care homes, key hospital departments and other community locations. The Company expects to launch its NPT system by the end of July 2020.”

- key hospital departments was achieved today
- care homes will surely follow suit in the next couple of weeks given the growing media pressure & fact the trial will almost certainly show clear benefits (why would it not...)
- other community locations could presumably include Schools, Unis, Airports etc.

The Q16’s and 32’s could be in huge demand. I wonder how many we can produce / have in stock?!

9inch, that’s exactly why NCYT have won this contract! They are continuously innovating ahead of competition & have the money and knowledge to continue this. I’m really not sure what you are arguing about, it’s clear you have limited knowledge of both financial and technical aspects so other than being a WUM why are you wasting your time?

Also worth noting we have traded 18.7m shares between AIM (4.7m) & Euronext (14m), that is some serious churn given many will have been content to hold... 26% of issued share capital or around £100m +

@Chrishar, I did a similar thing to you in being content to hold first thing before getting carried away & adding an extra 15% at 5.71. Profit taking will always happen, but this is a stronger buy now than it was yesterday :) If investing was easy (or logical!) then everyone would be a millionaire.

Spiked on a £150m contract, PMSL. Pull the other one. GDR is massively overvalued as its delivery absolutely no revenue to date!

CS, I can only assume you have genuine personal problems, and for that I’m sorry. There is no other explanation for your behaviour. The fact you think NCYT may finish down today off the back of a £150m 10 week contract says it all. I think you need the Bart Simpson lines treatment ; 1000 lines of ‘A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush’

Good luck to all genuine holders here, the cancer side of AVCT is undoubtedly looking stronger than ever. And all solutions to Covid should be welcomed given our current plight, but they need to be delivered on time otherwise where would we be?

So currently the price is up only £1 on last nights close, adding £70m to the market cap. Yet the contract we have signed is for £150m minimum over the next 10 weeks alone.:. It’ll take a few days to get fully priced in, but £7 seems the minimum short term target now pending all the other news due...

@Gene, Im ade that mistake with a fill / kill recently and it was so frustrating m - had a sell order at 27p on SYM, the price actually hit 30p before falling yet the Fill / Kill didn’t execute! Ended up selling for 24p once it had finally cleared.

it really is an avoid when buying a volatile open.

@CS, you've posted 21 times on the NCYT BB in the past month alone and likely well over 200 over the course of the summer. All of it has been severely negative, and today you've been proven categorically wrong. What you don't seem to be able to comprehend is that NCYT aren't just offering a PCR test anymore, their main product has now become Winterplex, which will help to quickly differentiate between Flu, Covid & several other winter infections. They delivered this in less than 3 months from conception.

I've said all along that I'll buy Avacta once they release their product, as clearly the scale and potential is / was off the scale. However, given AS has a history of overpromising & underdelivering, I'll believe it when I see it. Things began to look really promising here in early August when BBI was appointed, but progress is too slow. The NHS need solutions in place NOW, not in 3 months time. Home testing is different, and for that you have the exclusive agreement with Medusa ;)

Really don’t care where the price goes today, this is about where we can get to in the next 6-12 months. If Winterplex is good enough for the NHS it should sell very well internationally, I suspect they’ll be working flat out to get total manufacturing capacity up towards 50m per month covering PCR, Winterplex & Antibody. Not impossible that year end revenues could surpass £500m given we haven’t had a sales update since 2nd June...

The DHSC contract is simply the best RNS I’ve ever read! 99% chance they’ll take the extra 700 machines too, which presumably would take the total contract value up to £750m... wow.
