I agree, and it’s one of the factors that attracted me. Very grateful of the 25% pullback from last weeks highs as I’ve now got a decent holding. There are a lot of mining plays doing well at present, so highly likely we’ll see a steady stream of buys until the next news arrives...

Jdough, you'd have to be pretty daft to sell 9p placing shares that were priced at the same level as Polymetal paid! I suspect the recipients have a better idea than we do as to why Poly have got involved here...

I'm amazed that the share price is still above £1.10 & that so many continue to buy or hold significant quantities of shares in spite of the multitude of red flags here. As of 23/11 they were just commencing evaluation of clinical samples, but then they want to do a much larger study, which will be followed by regulatory application. How long is that going to take? Highly unlikely anything will be approved before Q2 now, so over a year from when they first mentioned it.

A very profitable year for Alistair, Kamani, Hughes & the other II's that bought pre news release in April. Remember that AVCT was 18p in March (and pre covid raised money at 16p the previous November), they have made no material progress on their Affimer platform other than raising £48m & there is still no firm start date for their clinical trials...

This will be shorted to high heaven if the next update isn't anything less than a material government order IMO.

Interesting company, but a premium valuation at present as we have no sales forecasts... One to watch for sure.

@Malik, I valued it on NET CURRENT ASSETS... why should a business this small be valued at net book value when it has net debt of £1.2m? And bear in mind the fixed assets in question are lego models & bricks, what would they actually fetch if you had to sell them quickly?

Is it? Why would someone pay £4.7m for a business that had net current assets of £1.8m at 30th June, made a £5.7m loss in the prior period, has £1.6m in debt and just £400k cash (probably less once placing fees are deducted)? Add in the new scattergun strategy & I doubt anyone would pay more than £1m for the lot. With 108m shares now in issue, that would be just under 1p per share. It's hardly priced for Armageddon when you consider the facts...

It's a bizarre interview. Almost as bizarre as their presentation which includes a picture of Miguel Angel Jimenez from 2009. From memory of my research on Parallel Media Group, the problem that sunk them last time were issues securing sponsors for the sporting events or cost overruns in association with running the events. The market cap here is £4.7m and they raised just £400k, what happens if one event doesn't go to plan?

The fact is DC got paid £248k for the 6 months to 30th June, that is 5% of the current market cap!

If they had a £10m market cap then yes it could be worth buying, but £76m... not a chance. SNG have an imminent P3 trial & excellent data from a P2 and are only valued at £177m!

Or the more likely option, a huge drop in the share price if / when they release S&S figures and they aren't anything to write home about, leading to the realisation that no material revenues will be forthcoming. In my opinion, if this tech worked well, it would already be commercially available... The radio silence is deafening, compare this to the pre placing period in April / May and it's IMO it's obvious what the game has been all about.

FSJ, I see you are the last man standing from the old guard who have been trying to drag innocent PI's into this mess for the last 18 months... Why can't you accept / understand that DC is creating huge value here for one person only, himself! He doesn't care what the share price is, as long as he is getting his £400k salary + freebie shares + moderately glamourous lifestyle.

If you actually believe that then you are exceptionally naive. If the market thinks a company needs more money in 4 months then the share price isn't going to increase in the meantime, it will fall to reflect the upcoming dilution & placing discount (cost of capital). Nobody in their right mind would trust the management here, and god only knows who has provided the 'gross' £600k of funds, but I would guess it will be someone connected to either Formula E or Worldsport SA & they will indirectly receive it back via sponsorship of an event they organise in the near future.

They'll be back to loaning money from Riverfort next, watch this space.

This will be sub 1p in the next 12 months IMO. He tried sponsoring sporting evens before with Parallel Media, it didn't work and that company effectively went bust. He's the worst CEO on AIM for destroying shareholder value, even worse than George Roach over at PREM or Trevor Brown (who redeemed himself somewhat today with a special dividend).

I'm sorry to hear that Guzzler, must admit even I didn't expect anything as brazen as this. The share should really be suspended pending publication of a prospectus given the scale of the change in strategy. And awarding himself £650k shares for an introduction is a disgrace, he should be taken to the cleaners if he dares show his face on Proactive or **********.

Haha, they will still have £2.65m to commercialise Paraytec, down from £3.15m stated on 10th Nov. Is this because they have spent some of the RMS cash on Paraytec already? Either way, it's not a huge change... Either way, I wouldn't sell pre dividend unless the share price gets to 65p+, then there is a decision to be made.

From 10th November RNS:

"Braveheart's financial resources has increased following the cash raised from the recently announced exercise of warrants and the recently announced sale of a part of our holding in Remote Monitored Systems plc, which raised approximately £3.15 million. Consequently, Braveheart now expects that the forecast cash costs of this project can now be met in full by Braveheart without the requirement to raise any funding from other sources. The cash now allocated to this project is expected to be sufficient to take the project through to a point where the product is ready for commercial launch."

I was always dubious about what TB would do with the cash, but this appears to be the right option. After the ex dividend date on 10th December, at 50p the company will be valued at 7.25p / £2.6m. This makes zero sense, and I'd imagine will very quickly double back to 15p +

So by holding for just over a week you have a guaranteed 42.75p per share dividend which will be tax free in an ISA + an option on BRH shares at 7.25p... absolute no brainer IMO.

Ps. the purpose of an investment company is to return excess cash generated from investments back to shareholders...

Yes bought in too before close, their September investor presentation is excellent. Add in Polymetal, the fact they operate in a relatively safe geography & their current market cap + low free float and you have the ingredients needed for a multibagger.

Sad to see the Independent spiel... Clearly Promate addresses many of the problems raised, but short term sentiment will take a hit. The opposition politicians are so stupid, all they ever do is criticise!

As for Captain C**t flaps, it’s no wonder the loser is bitter! He was ****ging NCYT off back in July when it was £2.10, at the same time AVCT as near £2. So he’s 50% down on the high there and still nowhere near a commercial test, and has missed a 600% rise here. A contender with 9InchNail for the worst investor of 2020...
