RE: Price action and the reason there is no trading update17 Jun 2021 15:25
GS - I was beginning to think on those lines myself. Once listed, we will be on US reporting rules. ie quarterly accounts, released around 6 to 8 weeks after each Q end. Therefore, may not be any trading news until Mid August when we will get Q2 accounts and by definition H1 results. Given all news coming from all parts of the advertising market, including now ITV, it is odds on Q2 is well up on Q1. By stating that Q1 is the weakest Q, by implication, the company has hinted as much.
Not possible to call SP - it's a large share offering. May need a big discount to shift them. But also, the company is so transparently under valued SP could go up. This is the only opportunity for institutions to buy in here with a good size stake (as current holders won't sell at this price), hence, demand should be there. Underwriters must have a finger on the pulse.
Note - the original plan was to issue up to 15% of the share capital - 20m shares - see notice of EGM. So, the proposed offering is in line with that, rather than an increase. Clearly been in planning for a long time, even down to how many shares would be issued. SP will be up over the next few months. Over the next few days ... could go either way, or no where!
