I was right about shorts starting to close. But, the drop in SP in this context is baffling unless of course they have cancelled each others movement and were stuck at 82-83. im hoping those new increases on the 23-24th will be thinking its a tad risky to keep shorts open. Gla

Seems to me some of the companies shorting but just below the threshold have jumped on the bandwagon last week - probably somewhat caught out by the others increasing too - that led to the drop to 77. This then was followed by covering of positions by some of the existing companies holding larger positions - taking advantage of the dip to 77. I would expect by now they will all be thinking about closing - and hopefully we will see a swift uptick.
This is all conjecture on my part. Fingers crossed it is right! ATB

Seems to have steadied now and implications absorbed. I would hope a steady climb back to where we started over the next few weeks. Keeping a steady head is needed.

Nasty Putin gave the shorters a perfect day to inflict max damage. I was in a meeting so missed the dip to 77 - managed a top up at 79 and 80. TBH - I never thought I would see the SP at these ridiculous levels.
Have to say - seems to be a troll free zone this evening - I was expecting to see messages galore from the shorting brigade. Have they done their bit and moved on now? Lets hope so. ATB

Agree Mark. The posts are pretty pathetic and increasingly desperate. But with some it's either boom or bust not on actual information but based on holding or not. Poor show Caitlin.

I'm a relatively new entrant and even I am 10% under. It must be awful for holders from even 2 months ago.
I've added today. The new shorter is at play now. They work on breaking the spirit of holders.
I used to hold TED. Sold at 63p when they did break my resolve. Not long after it was over 100.
I am so not making that mistake again. Fundamentally nothing has altered to justify this drop.
I'm happy to keep adding at these discounted prices and this time I will wait until the shorters break.
