SS - please, what's with the hysteria. Deaths due to covid are minimal. Deaths with covid are inevitable when there is so much about. If you counted how many died each year with the common cold - you would probably end up with a similar number.
Chill - omicron variant 2 is even more infectious and even less problematic. Its becoming a common cold level of endemic presence.

I'm amazed 2 of the previous board are still in post! Most normal executives will have resigned in shame. I understand they stayed to provide transition stability etc, but to be collecting salaries so long after the failed robbery, is staggering. IMO

good summary Casa. A defence contract would be my guess, given the circumstances. Germany alone have pledged an enormous amount towards defence spending. Add on all the other countries and it is an eye watering about to be spent!

This was expected. 2021 was always going to be a tough year. second half performance is encouraging. Now can bid for new ADNOC contracts and this will hopefully kick start a proper rerate. Divi in 2023 will be a nice boost. Waiting game now.

BOO was taken down to a ridiculously low SP by co-ordinated (it seems to me) short attack with a lot of them just under the threshold to declare. Several popped over the threshold recently and it therefore appears there is a big sudden increase, when it is not. Much more relevant to me, is as a poster pointed out recently, some companies have broken ranks and are significantly reducing their holding. It is not going to be nearly as easy for those left to manipulate from the shadows. Hold firm and sit it out.
I'm now much deeper than I intended as I have added gradually trusting my ability to assess risk and prudently take advantage when opportunity presents. My main holding at 92p and ISA holding at 68 average price. I have no intention of selling even if I could walk away now unhurt.
I will only add more now if it drops to ridiculously low levels again but with the new ISA window coming, I will reassess then. GLA and only invest what you can afford to lose entirely.

Really does grate that the shorts are being allowed such a soft exit, but i'd rather see the back of them anyway. All the PI's spooked into the selling will hopefully buy back eventually. Its how the shorters operate - they understand better than most that PI's are vulnerable to PTSD.

On the basis that when the war ends, this will be back up quickly, I have bought back in. I realise the risk here but feel this is now into the risk/reward zone where a holding is justified. Russia have not got the stomach for a long battle. They have gotten as bloated as the rest of us and will miss their creature comforts soon. Hope the brave Ukranian people hold on until the Russian resolve melts. I sense it will not be long. ATB and I know it is just my opinion.

Well put T4G. I have seen this practice time and time again on numerous boards. My sense is they are not deluded or those with mental health issues. They are in all probability a syndicate of people who hold short positions. However you cut it, they have an agenda and will spend endless time posting negative chat, only to simply vanish one day. Everyone needs to earn a crust but how do these people sleep at night?
