Got some sympathy with your position, although perhaps you did not clarify the salient points too well. Great Britain Plc is in debt to the tune of 2.3 Trillion Pounds , probably because sucessive governments have priorities that we as mere mortals, fail to understand! Undoubtedly there is an I DESERVE CULTURE, that is endemic in this country well now the Piper is requesting his money, and whatever Slater 606 thinks , a few feckless mothers certainly dont help!!!
Weve all lived high on the Hog for too long now the pain. Oh by the way Im not a Tory voter but I do make my own way in life!!
I Have no opinion on BP.s involvement in Rosneft , In my opinion on the situation in Russia is a totally different matter, that
sipholitic Putin has put fear into every Russians head that to disagree with him means death!! The man is emulating his hero Stalin, who sacrificed over 15 million Russians in the forties and fifties. During this week I am down over 25.000, but worth every penny and more if Ukraine prevails!!! Screw the War mongers, Long Live UKRAINE !!!!
Falky intimates that Lloyds could retract to 44p and quite frankly anyone with an understanding of basis economics must consider the possibilities . The herd instinct in a rising market is infectious but the market negatives have yet to appear!! but appear they will !! The obverse is an always rising stock market, which frankly is impossible. In a market where Lloyds have over 70 billion shares where is the top? Lloyds , in my opinion , may make 55 - 58p but if they do start to be wary! Falky is a very successful investor and usually talks common sense, ignore at your peril!!! By the way despite popular rumour we are NOT sleeping together!!!
Faulky , Generally I concur with your sentiments re: recession so I have slowly retraced back to mostly cash, yet the danger is missing the forward influences that are prevelant at the moment! Caution is the byword as I believe that wage demands will soar in the summer.
Bielsaball, Thank you for your correction I am truely sorry for the infantile mistake, it wont happen again ! Angersharkz, repeat of the last comment re: Democracy. The fact still remains that Tom has every right to post on this board as do you two, perfect he is not, unlike you two who pick up on any purile point. Try growing up!!!!!
Message for Tom, Dear Sir, I refrain from the general mud slinging that seems to dominate this board as I absolutely respect your right to express your opinions , there are no caveats what so ever to that statement, the so called petition to have you banned by Nige and co. is totally un-democratic !! My question to you is how do you see ITV at £1.00 ish in April when it currently sits at £1.19 ish and likely to go higher???. Thank you in advance for a considered response.
Gentlemen, I am an I.T.V.investor, I own I.T.V. shares and quite frankly I am p***ed off with your constamt childish bickering!!!How 0ld are you all ??? NIGE - I thought that you had filtered Tom, TOM - You do talk some crap at times !! Give us all a break and sort your differences out behind the bike sheds !!!!!
At £127 ish this world class engineering company is ridiculously cheap, the quality that it brings to the market is world renoun , the advent of covid initially scuppered any progress but panics dont last for ever and life carries on!! Optomistic some may say, but have just got involved again big time .Long haul has re-started and mini reactors "et al" will see this at £2.00 by year end. There after anything is possible - Fill your boots, Happy New Year to all.
Nige & Angersharkz, I am gutted that you cannot identify irony when my post was obviously a p* ss take - never mind, I hold ITV at the moment, but over the last 12 months have done well from them! I do not necessarily consider them a long term hold but will re-assess after the results. In the meantime , a slow rise towards £1.17 - £1.20 Is expected. After the results maybe £ 1.27 - £1.35 could be on the cards Keep the faith - SHAPERITE
Dear Tom, A serious Question, If you have made a Million since Covid began ( And I assume it is Pounds not Turkish Lira ) Why on Earth do you bother with this board ??? I am generally a day trader, always looking for 5% - 7% over a week or so.reasonably successful and I have achieved only 14,000.00 Pounds, you must be playing with serious money £5,000,000 to make 20%. You must be a living God!! So why bother with Nige?? or Angersharks and why so aggressive ?? Post in Premium Share Chat in future where your obvious skills are appreciated. Happy New Year All !!! SHAPERITE
Nige; Took the plunge again today , I seriously think that ITV will achieve 1.25/1.30 possibly on results day ,! along with a re-instatement of the dividend ! Contrary to other opinions on this board I view the award of the shares to " The Dame " as a positive move infering that she will be eligable for dividend payments as and when, which obviously would suggest an amazing trading year. Only the B.O.D. know the truth but that is how I read it.
Faulky, With respect I also hold a considerable number of Lloyds shares , but my target must be over 0.55 p and maybe at results time 0.60+. I feel that although it is a mercurial share which mirrors the British economy, there is little point or profit in attaining a penny / halfpenny a time as dealing costs coming and going suffocate the trade. As Warren Buffet stated, Profit is obtained by the patient from the impatient ( Or something like that !!!!! ) Up your expectations - Regards SHAPERITE.
Thurs 9.07 - " The Dame has no new ideas so re-vamped gameshow promises to bankrupt ITV "
Monday 15.31 - " I am holding off buying until Feb / Mar 2022, Hopefullt we can get some balanced debate here and try to point people in the right direction "
Two world shattering comments by our friend Tom , I do believe that he is prepared to buy stock in a company that may go bankrupt owing to the B.O.D !!!!! Anyone here in invested please take note of the Sage of Bournmouth - what a star!!!!!
Recent rate rise is generally irrelevant, but it obviously depicts a potential further moovement upwards, probably in the new year. My dilemma is that when in November a rate rise was muted, Lloyds peaked at 51p now the rate rise is upon us Lloyds are
struggling to breach 46p!! A case of the King is dead - long live the King ??? If anyone wonders who I am, used to be Shaperite but got Jocked off now sixinch - by the way Long live Falky common sense and humour to this board !!
