Pretty mental when you think of it like that and SDX gas doesn't cost half as much (probably as I don't know how much it would cost to ship stuff) as it does to ship the stuff around the world in tankers.

Sigh, Leapfrog, I am going to say nothing more than this, I really like SDX as a company (and I am up to my balls in SDX shares), but I just have a few small frustrations and I try to be realistic and accurate with my posts. Regarding Rabul it just annoys me how much the Egyptian government take from SDX and their partner. Nothing I said in my post was inaccurate and was just trying to clarify what you had said as you appeared to not have taken in to account the state robbery in your figures and it did have a positive spin in the last sentence anyway. If this counts as being 'negative' rather than realistic and rational in your book then you need to examine your investing rationale. Griffin, I was not referring to 200 bopd extra (or whatever the figure turns out to be) as crappy, I was referring to 200bopd out of 1000bopd net to SDX as being crappy net figure due to the state robbery. 200bopd will still materially help SDX's production so it is of course most welcome.

Leapfrog, if Rabul05 flows at 1250bopd Leapfrog, for SDX to net 750bopd from Rabul-5 it would have to flow at 5 times that rate as after government robbery and working interest SDX only net about 20% from any discovery. I don't think Rabul-5 is going to flow at 3750bopd. More likely they are going to net something crappy like 200bopd again. But it does go straight to the bottom line and comes on to production quickly and netbacks are high! Please correct me if I have misunderstood what you are trying to say.

I don't think we'll need a downgrade from Cantors or whoever as the share price is already being brought back down. 48.3p to sell currently, think 49 to buy. #SOA4UIAND

Whatever mate, you have a bad attitude. For anyone that's interested in rational discussion, I was trying to make everyone aware that the extra processing capacity at Meseda is not wholly for oil. Hopefully most of it is though! We'll find out sooner or later.

I think it's important here to point out the facility was upgraded to handle 20,000 barrels of FLUID a day, not 20,000 barrels of oil. I don't know how much but the extra processing capacity is to handle extra water and extra oil. So quite how much of that extra capacity is going to process oil I don't know, but it should certainly be substantial. It's not just for Rabul either, it was primarily intended for current operations at Meseda after workovers increased production of oil but with extra water too. Hence need for higher fluid capacity.

I am entitled to my view so please don't try to tell me what I can and can't say. I afford you the same courtesy. I admit that I do have a poor view of PW's forecasting with timescales. While it may not be under his control and obviously things happen in oil and gas to disrupt timescales, I think he should be a little more conservative. That said it's not a huge gripe but me saying does seem to **** some people off here. Oh and the recent options at a low price with essentially zero upside in the share price needed to trigger them are rather annoying. I don't have a problem with the company is run and I think they are doing a fantastic job which I continuously point out. I do believe something dodgy is going on with the share price but that's just my view. "The sp is where it is for numerous reasons" - yes it is and one of those could very well be manipulation. I don't know, it's just my stab in the dark. I really don't want to be censored but I feel that I am going to have to stop posting even the most mildly negative of comments in order to stop the overall informative BB in to bar fight. I am very positive about the prospects here my concern is that this company is going to be taken out on the cheap. You'll be ****ed off too if that happens.

For the record I am no tinpot trader, I've been long here since February 2017! Since then I have discovered charts can be quite useful and I was correct in thinking this would pull back to close the gap from last September. Whether it actually pulled back because of the gap I can't possibly prove but still, it did close the gap and that has put something of a bottom under this. #SOA4UIANDBYS

This has now broken out of the annoying little downward channel it has been it since more or less the start of the year. It has also today closed the recent gap down after that well in Morocco turned out to not be commercial enough for SDX. I suppose the target now, is to break back in to the upward channel that can be seen on the chart. Either than or it might come back down again to retest the downward channel. Because you don't have to have integrity in this world to get stinking rich. I am not so naive to think SDX is run by saints for the benefit of shareholders. It is being run by people who want to get stinking rich and while they wouldn't necessarily do anything to get rich, I'm sure a bit of share price manipulation that benefits them wouldn't go down badly. Dude, if you really think this world is fair and just and this sort of stuff doesn't go on ALL THE TIME, what you are doing investing in stocks??

It's almost certainly being manipulated guys, allowing big money to get in on the cheap. The management of the company are probably aware of this and in cahoots with whoever is doing it. Just look at the management options at rock bottom prices the other day, just a week or so before this latest discovery. It stinks, something dodgy is probably going on behind the scenes (and I don't mean anything bad for the share price), but there are so many big pockets loading up there must be value. As many have speculated, perhaps this is being primed for takeover, who knows.
