If the trade goes through at below the mid-price (mid-point between bid and ask) of the bid-ask spread then it's automatically classified as a sell and if above it's classified as a buy.

It's nothing dodgy. It's an automated reporting system. The price of the trade determines whether it was a buy or sell based on the bid-ask spread at the time of the trade. All trades are buys AND sells anyway as you can't buy shares unless someone sells them and vice versa, this includes buying/selling to/from MM's too. Shares can't just go in to/out from the ether!!!

This is either some kind of fraud, or it's grossly undervalued.

Yep, valued at £68m today. Because it's just a better run company with almost no production, with lots of debt and huge dilution. SDX are doing it wrong.

IS currently just under US$32m. Enterprise value is a valuation of the company as follows;

Market cap + all debt - any cash or EV=MC+Total Debt-C

So the current market cap is valuing the company's properties, exploration upside, production, everything barring cash at US$32m

With no new CEO SDX are saving about $1m per year right now.

In other news oil sentiment is looking decidedly negative. SD can't come online soon enough.

It's been going on for weeks. There is buying liquidity there for so much more than the tiny amounts of some of these trades so it would appear to be being done for some other reason.

The sdx website is only up to date to the end of April. It says as much on the page.

River and Mercantile appear to have sold down a lot of their holding too in the past few months. Either these Morningstar numbers are just plain wrong or no one seems to bother notifying when it comes to SDX.

Littlened, they now hold 6.3 million shares.

They've likely managed it by buying up all the shares that have been sold.

Also it appears that AXA Framlington UK Smaller Companies Acc have bought 6,320,331 shares (or 3.09% of the company) recently. It appears that there were net sells from funds/institutions in July but only to the tune of about 900,000 shares. Not a whole lot. Will this holding be reported to the market at some point???

Furey, that's not what I am talking about. They are so small, whether they are sells or buys (someones likely on the other end of the trade anyway, buying or selling) doesn't matter. I am simply saying what is their purpose? Nearly every morning for weeks? Who trades like that? Is it possibly manipulation? Signals? Who knows?!?!

What is with these weird small trades that keep appearing right after open? Who trades like that and why? ?

I think it's just the new KES etc prospects that require extensions (as the below implies).
