Yes you are missing something. The gas sells for over $10/mcf and that price has been slowly creeping up over time. Closer to $11 now. They only sell just over 6mmcf/d currently.

Sdx is a very well managed business. It's positive they minimising costs. They have absolutely no interest in driving up the share price with incremental news releases (they don't seem to have any affect on this share anyway lol). The company and the two large shareholders are content to sit tight for the long haul and then take in the dividends when the time is right.

Mug AIM punters have all but left this stock for dead.

No one seems to give a crap that smart money has a very large and increasing proportion of the shares. Some of them may still be slowly accumulating.

That those with deep pockets, greater analytical resources, long time horizons and possibly more information than the rest of us aren't selling, haven't been selling and have been buying more. Basically, they think there is good value to be had here.

I would love £1.50. That shareholders list with increasing holdings really does say it all in my opinion.

That new list (plus the board) adds up to ~78% of total outstanding shares. These holdings, while not all institutions etc do appear to be very tightly held so it really does appear the free float at present is effectively at a maximum of 22%. Minus from that 22% the shares that I know a lot of us PI's are refusing to sell and you must have a small number.

They (Waha/Ingalls) might not care. They will know better than anyone which way this company is going. They might be trying to keep the price down for a takeover or to acquire more shares themselves. I would expect PR and bluster and publicity would be more likely if the company was doing worse rather than better. So it could be a good sign.

They would have had their shares converted if they hadn't elected to sell before the redomicile. Could still be Canadians but I doubt it.

My main concern here is North West Gemsa. That is likely to go offline next year at some point, especially if oil prices keep going down. Now SD should replace that production in entitlement BOE terms but I've not yet done the calculations to work out what it will mean in terms of profits. So we might find next year with SD online and NW offline that profits are flat or slightly down. Now your average AIM punter is going to care/or even know of this but more sophisticated investors will.

I don't believe it's a problem longer term as SD is surely going to yield a production rate of 100mmcf/d at some point and at that rate profits will definitely be up (even with Morocco flat). NW Gemsa going offline could well provide a trading opportunity here.

Couple of reasons;

1. you can sell everything you own above the ask.
2. small buys are moving up the buy price

I should have caveated my statement with 'if there is a little bit of buying volume'.

If anyone wants any more shares here, now might be an opportune time. I think it might be ready for another little leg up.

Apart from the company's lack of credibility due to the PW reign, a lot of investment firms/funds and HNW's might not want to invest here due to there being at times (a lot of the time) next to zero liquidity. The free float is small here.

I still think retail don't know about the stock. They invest in any old crap, which SDX certainly isn't.

There is buying liquidity for all of my shares (which in total is more than some directors hold). There is clearly an order or two out there.

A little bit of volume here could see the price rise quite nicely.

The director buying, even though small and *possibly* indicating there'll be no news for a while (although nberzins says, that might well not be the case), is definitely better than a director selling.
