Friday 24 Feb tomorrow - & Monday 27th both prime days for eagerly awaited HUR RNS update, especially if CA have end Feb as target end-date for patience. Let us hope. Or even for CA RNS.
Brent today at $82 won't harm us as we're stuck with around that figure for offload as Feb 1st days likely at or just below that. Looking at things positively, we have until April 1st - 5th to see Brent rise for next offload (likely April end week 3). Better to get low Brent out of the way now and see a stable higher by April.

Sadly there are always innocent post casualties after a concerted lecture tour visit by a certain poster. now members have wised up & become less malleable, the repeated pattern is:-
A poster dishes it out, then upon rightly receiving it back, runs crying to teacher (moderator) pulling posts.
offended posters then rightfully return the favour and get his posts pulled.
Moderator, lacking time-resources, pulls whole threads. hence legitimate posts become collateral damage.
The day following a 'lecture day' a poster posts 'sweetness & light' seeking to engage a short term 'new best friend' in order to cover his tracks. it often works

That is why, despite my oft-stated considerable respect for Euston, i think he simply got it wrong in engaging today (part of pulled thread(s) ). A poster may be smart enough to write cogently & pleasantly when minded, as a deliberate ploy to restore credibility. The issue is whether the benefit of those posts is worth the angst and ill will caused by more consistent posting content. Whereas my own view is that it is not, i make crystal clear I am not seeking to advise or influence others. It is simply my view. The majority of HUR AVFN do hold a similar view and have found not engaging, whilst not a perfect answer, to be effective. One may also obtain some comfort, if one's post is collateral damage (& thus 'wasted time'), that the lecture writer poster will have wasted considerably more time than anyone else.

PIs could amass 100 mill shares and both call an EGM and get a man on BoD , IF someone took up cudgels
PI's would then accept the relevant strictures embraced by their voted-in representative - as CA SHs trust theirs.

A certain poster has stopped pulling posts - crying to teacher. And severely limited pedantry. If he dropped the arrogance, and refrained from periodically opining 'the restructuring BoD did no wrong', he'd be on a home run! But also, as an absolute, he'd need to stop playing silly beggers on ADVFN via multiple aliases. Not much to ask, to be welcomed into a fold whose motto is to bear no grudges.

(i) If this + ADVFFN forum amassed 100mill shares & requested a BoD seat, it WOULD get one. CA would ensure!

One does wish drivel-merchants would argue with legitimacy. Whether I have stated how many shares I own is irrelevant.

I have ZERO doubt I (as well as perhaps 1-2 others, as all would rally round) could spearhead a PI campaign and achieve 100mill shares and a BoD seat. ZERO DOUBT! It won't happen because no one capable of such is in a financial position to dedicate unpaid a year of their life to that end - even if they were also prepared to have the inside of their knickers inspected.

Whilst all this is fun as we haven't had a boredom punch-up for a while, we remain safely in CA's hands. Nothing so far has occurred suggesting CA have become out of lockstep with PI's best interests. For that I, for one, am grateful. I encourage patience. it may be that in time CA will take a step diverging from PI's interests. At which time we may fairly examine the merits. Till then ..we are best staying cool...

An EGM would see the 3 chief execs removed. The 3 chief execs will know and expect this.
I would not expect an EGM to occur. The 3 chief execs would resign before such via mutual agreement, for both financial & reputational reasons. Thus a long wait for an EGM may not occur. I would not be surprised, if no acceptable deal emerges, for resignations to occur without the need for a further EGM request. Such would suit all parties' interests, and crucially, benefit HUR most

If the BoD, supported by Stifel, state there exist a number of interested purchasing parties, hence a little extra time is needed (a reasonable request), any SH forcing an EGM at such crucial time would be viewed as unreasonable for killing the possibility of a successful 'fair value' bid. Not least by other institutional SHs, and most definitely by many PIs.
At crucial times, it is essential to not only do the right thing, but to be seen to be doing the right thing.
You properly earlier declared you aren't a SH. No problem. The problem is that readers can't be expected to remember or backtrack read. The common sense reading of your posts is of you being a disgruntled SH - unless you disclaim in each post that you are not

CA halted a 95% restructuring attempt. Doable board changes were made. With well 6 production & cash accumulation priority, it is difficult to see more pragmatically that could be done. Until the well 8 fiasco - and indications are that this was the breaking straw which, supported by growing cash, caused CA to commence dialogue with Albion Energy and precipitate returning cash to SH and a BoD denouement.

Solid reason (FSP end-game outcome) existed for EGM request withdrawal. It can be requested anew anytime via single RNS.

CA recovered it's HUR decimated position by buying huge amount at low price, thereby lowering it's SP average to +6p. It was the brave, correct decision. HUR is overwhelmingly CA's biggest fish and will be receiving it's greatest attention. It's other interests are tiddlers. Silence does not mean inaction. Maris et all have never run rings around CA.
