RNS update due as per the header - We often joke about a Thursday RNS but 'MAY' very well be the case, with tomorrow being 30th April.

For reasons previously discussed, I'm expecting an extremely bullish Operational Update RNS & the start of a major SP re-rating of the stock.

As Doc stated on 21st April (or thereabouts) - "I sold out the majority of my holding here"

It does make you wonder why almost all his posting is about MATD?

"Oil price soaring. Why isn't MATD's SP? It did previously, but not now..."

BP. in the red too -Oh dear!

We should also note that when the Company stated they were 'looking bto conclude the discussions (nearing completion) in short order', in Feb, the macro conditions linked to' Price & Strategi Supply', hjave significantly improved to Petro Matad's benefit.

Also noting, those discussions were off a Firm Proposal already received, hence a basis for an Farm Out deal already there. We can reasonably assume, Petro Matad have a deal if they want it and for those endlessly quoting a scenario of 'no deal' and also noting Multiple interested parties apart from the main Farmee candidate.

All positioned very strongly indeed for Petro Matad & shareholders, with i'd also expect Institutional open market influx post deal, to finally flush out many ofb the retail trader component.

Re: Oil Prices - Brent currently around $114bbl prom a circa $60bbl pre-conflict.

With infrastructure damage to production facilities & Emergency sovereign reserves needing replenishment, we can expect a sustained elevated price for many months going forward. The level being stated is around $95bbl.

That would bev expected to be pushed upwards, if Iranian production was completely taken out of global supply ex Kharg Island facility destruction.

We have a $40bbl Net Payback off a $70bbl oil price, so Net payback currently (and going forward), should be significantly higher

Citytiddler - You've referenced me again directly, so in fairness I'm entitled to a response , even though i'd prefer to focus on my other investment.

My pointb was a cash raise would likely precede all other develoopments, if indeed threy manage to get those developments off the ground - They tend to take a LONG time in completion.

You state: "with that money they will be fine for months to come" - They raised only £485K, most of which is at a huge discount. Given the (likely) long timeframes for any fram out deal (if they get the deal), we will not only likely have a Cash Raise in the meantime but ALSO a significant number of those 0.15p shares hittingn the market, hence providing a SP price brake & likely directional move towards the Warrants price ie 0.15p, over time.

of the £485K you refer to, £474K are from warrants at 0.15p - a huge discount to the prevailing SP

of the £485K you refer to, only £11,677 are from the warrants at 0.28p

Doesn't thjat tell you something!!

Back to MATD and please don't ask me to comment on the UOG board again, especially for something so obvious as the above ie effectively massively discounted new shares entering the market

The SunSteppe CEO, Zula Lvansdorj, has presented in the previous CMC Investment forums. The China market is positioned to be the biggest export recipient for the Renewable Export component of SunSteppe's projects and hence the already agreed 1.5GW (+1.5gW contingent) MOU with the China State Utility company - also noting Zula's comments of the Chinese effectively chasing after them for those opportunities.

There's expect6ed to be strong newsflow on that (linked to the ACWA Power $10Bn investment) in 2026.

I'll reiterate, I believe the transition from Retail Traders to Institutional Investors will start to take place this year and with ALL pieces now being optimally positioned for that.

Whilst the prices are elevated, we'll be receiving a very significant increased revenue, which strengthens our balance sheet & negotiating position. It'll can also potentially impact operational activity, beyond the Farm Out deal specific negotiation terrain.

that's in addition to the strengthened negotiation position of Petro Matad and acknowledging the likely continuation of elevated oil prices for a significant time going forward.

That would be compounded further if Iranian supply was completely removed from the global market, whether by a direct strike on Kharg Island facilities or as Abzzba's 19:15 post point out.

Brent currently $111bbl with forward prices expected to 'stabilise' around $95bbl - We can see how Petro Matad's Net Payback of $40bbl off a $70bbl oil price, would be significantly impacted upwards off that - and further with the Refinery completion.

I think the US plan is either to effectively 'sabotage' the Iranian production facilities due to being unable to unload the produced oil, which thereby completely messes up the production facilities OR the previously mentioned outright destruction of Kharg Island

* Not an oil engineer so look that up re: build up of produced voil and derogatory effects resultant
