-Not a speculative wildcat; the October 2024 RNS already confirmed presence of migrated oil.

- Upcoming flow test idesigneded to confirm commerciality.

- Gobi's shallower depth historically correlates with superior permeability in the Tamsag Basin—the probability of a commercial flow rate exceeding 200–400 bopd remains exceptionally high apparently (caveat: not an oil Engineer).

I expect there's 'no update' because they're 'concluding' the Farm Out deal, as indicated previously. If the deal was off the table, the Operational update could already have been released and given the near term work expenditure on GOBI ect is already covered.

Nearing completion doesn't mean completed and i suspect they'll obviously want to have a comprehensive Operationa Update, including the Farm Out news.

Also interesting to note the 'reactive selling' on Friday on MATD (and other oil stocks) on expectations of a conflict resolution deal, resulting in a reduced oil price, isn't borne out by the actual long term oil price projections, as the header article indicates
