I expect any Buyout of Block XX will be based on Asset Value and given the huge progress in working environment inc new legislation etc as well as fundamental Geo-political strategic supply shifts. As Buck stated, Petro Matad are open to a Takeoverv / Buyout offer BUT it would have to be at the RIGHT PRICE.

Also, Given that both Buck & Petrovis are holders, we can reasonably assume it certainly wont be given away cheaply.

We can start with the accepted 'in ground' valuation metrics of $3bbl - $8bbl and take it from there.

Just look at the Heron 'in ground' valuations with the $3-$8bbl metrics, used for that - consider the upper end, given Geo-political supply shifts. - we're looking at $175M-$480M - Now consider the $40bbl Net payback on a $70bbl oil price. Consider a 30-50% share relinquishing for development costs for Heron but again on the $40bbl net payback.

Any way you look at it, this ZERO DEBT company, regardless how the zero debt position was achieved - that's the investment at this SP - has HUGE upside written all over it.

'Aim Gambles' are those massively indebted & zero revenue - MATD is far from that & perfectly positioned for massive growth!

We're looking at values based on $70bbl, which gives a Net Payback of circa $40bbl (official company figures & higher with Refinery online late 2027))

Something tangable to consider - beyond BB posturing of a certain poster to 'get back IN'

In Ground (Heron) Asset Value v Current Mkt Cap

"If we assume $70 Brent then after price adjustment processing handling and trucking fees block 20 receives around about $54 per barrel and applying the PSC terms MATAD Nets around about $43 a barrel."

We currently have a circa $124bbl but we can look at forward oil price stability around bthe $95bbl level, giving us a very healthy Net Payback, well above the c.$43 at $70bbl

Risk v Reward with Zero Debt?

In ground valuation assumes a $3-$8bbl figure. With elevated prices expected for a sustained period (ref: $95bbl) - We can reasonably assume the upper figure.

For Heron ONLY - 35M-60M x $8bbl = $280M - $480M at $8bbl in ground

or $175M - $300M at $5bbl in ground

Those are 'in ground'asset values, development of the asset would yield significantly more (ref: Net Payback figures) & then we can factor in other asset arms.

As stated earlier & noting Hamm's increasingly desperate efforts on the BB - "the frantic efforts of a certain few people here for their own entries (off others expense) ;)"

(if you're into that sort of thing - I prefer the fundamental factors underpinning the investment ie Zero Debt position, Current revenue covering overheads, buoyant oil prices, Asset value multiples of mkt cap, strategy for major production upscaling......etc)

I expect the RNS next week - bear in mind, they already have a Firm Farm Out Propopsal on the table, so I think we're very heavily weighted indeed for the Farm Out announcement etc.

The curtrent SP and disconnect between 'in ground' Asset Value & Mkt cap is the Opportunity - of course, anyone has the option of waiting out & looking to try securing shares at any point post RNS. Given the circumstances, I expect the RNS will be transformational for the company and for reasons given etc
