I must admit Deeko, I personally have been battered and bruised by tullow over recent months and I have seriously considered the in and out to claw back some of the losses (which I have not done or been brave enough to do so) but I too echo your thoughts as being a LTH however painful it’s been :)

I’m with you Steamboatwilly, my barrel is overflowing with tullow shares, I can’t fit anymore in, bought more on the dip after FYR and guess what, they are lower than the current buy price.

I could keep buying but I need to temper my giddiness - you can get too much of a bad thing

Giddy giddy giddy, if your in for a quick win, maybe so, if your a LTH, then this baby never fails to kick you in the middle stump time and time again, I’m bruised and battered and can hardly walk.

Well, I know it’s early doors, but after a red opening, we have now just turned blue, hopefully end the day blue :)

I don’t know much about Swinney and Enquest but the LSE CHAT BOARD on Enquest seems to be largely positive about him and the job that he’s done there.

This may well be good news :)

Glad my giddiness yesterday was tempered by my cynical thoughts (thank god), every time I buy more on the dips they go down even further again, I think I’m actually getting comfortable now with losing money on these shares, either that or I’m just getting used to it now and it seems the norm

Call me cynical, but I can’t help thinking that the £1m buy yesterday was to stimulate the share price today and we will see a £1m sale after the share price climb to make the share price fall back again.

Am I being cynical ?

I don’t want to get too excited about this, excitement in the past with Tullow has made me giddy and convinced me to buy more shares.

Yep, I second that sentiment, but it really does go to show that even being in the know (member of the board) that Tullow still continues to surprise everyone (not in a good way)

Let’s see if we continue the 2 to 4% down ward trend today:(

If you walk down a dark alley and get mugged, that’s bad luck, you walk down that dark alley the next night and the same thing happens again, I’m certainly not going to fall for this crappy share dive again on the expected good news, I’m going to cash in the day before as you said, 4 or 5 times, that dark alley is hurting my head, there’s no way I’m getting thrashed again it’s just too painful. I think this share is turning me into a transactional investor - sorry guys
