We are trading in black gold, the world revolves around it, and the value is twice a barrel to what it was just over a year ago, but we are trading a share price nearly 30% down on the year.

If we had a sizeamological earth thrust which made all EV’s useless, would this restore the value or would we still be battered, but if we were battered would that then mean the price would rise like the cod at my local chip shops prices - ha ha

Steamboat - I’m not convinced that barefaced manipulation is the sole / main cause, it just has to be more than this, I think it has been said on here before that the volume of daily trades does not support this theory - or is everything just theory, I’m not after creating a conspiracy theory thread, I’m just interested in facts and logic

PGEE - I get all the things you say, and logic should dictate the upward trajectory of tullow, but time and time again it keeps defying this logic.

Is it sentiment, is it manipulation, is it debt, is it the management team, is it oil being out of favour, is it economic, is it merger, I could go on and on but in my eyes, every single thing has improved in tullows favour over and above where we were 12 months ago and were now 27% down on the year, logic does not figure here at all - this is a real mind bender and I am missing something and just can’t put my finger on it - no news is bad news, bad news is bad news, good news turns out to be bad news with tullow, it just can not seem to break free of its negative shackles.

I am all for thinking positive, but when positivity does not translate to positive gains, then something’s amiss here and we all need to know what it is - that’s my simple thoughts

FTSE 2% up, Tullow now started moving south this morning, Capricorn moving north, great correlation -ERRRRRR NOT

I wish I had a crystal ball, but at this rate after the daily decline and continuous ball busting my balls might actually be completely hardened and properly crystallised

Yes everything is down, but Tullow needs to start reflecting its value in the share price, great value for the day traders, not so great for the LTH’s, maybe a good price point to buy additional top ups.

There’s no way the bottom can fall out of oil with the demand being so high, we just need to reflect fair market value, which all the analyst agree with should be much higher - too many positives outweighing the negatives, what a difference this company is and climate in the last 12 to 18 months.
