Well I couldn't resist topping up today Uggy. The trade at 15.36 was mine - that's a lot of money to me, so fingers crossed the council planning committee don't cost their tax payers a fortune by making it go to appeal.

I've been to a couple of planning meeting, Gideons, and they're pretty nasty people.

I know a bloke who sent a letter of support for an application for Wressle, and the council published his address. He got something rather unpleasant sent to him in the post with an anti-fracking leaflet! Nice people.

To be honest I don't think the company are in a position to say anything. It's up to the Irish government what happens next, I believe. Will they allow the Inishkea licence to be extended? Will they consider it's a new application and refuse the extension. For the last 2 years the government have done SFA regarding both the transfer of FEL 3/19 from DNO to Europa, and the permit for the site survey. Meanwhile sitting on the licences costs money which the Irish government gratefully accept. I believe Europa will apply for an extension, but I don't think they'll farmout Inishkea until the environmental survey is passed. The government need a rocket up their backside, because they are soon to drop their most vulnerable citizens in the poo (and I don't mean price of oil).

I find it remarkable how committed the greens are on this bulletin board. They sacrifice so much of their time, just to slate a minnow oil and gas company. Minimum wage too! That's commitment for you. Just a shame they couldn't put their talents into something that is actually useful for a change.

Was it withdrawn because it was a survey based on including the Edge licence, which DNO took back? Being once again just Inishkea, they may wish to find a different location? The licence is soon up for renewal, so maybe it's something to do with that?

Ah, I think I see what the problem is! You don't know what period Q1 covers. It stands for the first quarter of the year. That's January, February and March. Sorry if that's too complicated for you.
