Why spend hours sl*gging off the company? Are you mentally ill? Do you have some sort of inferiority complex? I refer to New World Oil & Gas, Les. The market makers will protect any forward sellers at the cost of shareholders. It looks good in theory, but it won't be allowed to happen - the brokers will protect themselves. In my opinion (and from previous experience).

Just because some 'misguided' councillor (who accepts the decision because he believes in democracy by the way), says he is going to write to the appropriate minister to overturn the decision, the loopy bunny sh*ggers think this country is going to turn it's back on the easiest oil and gas reserves it can get it's hands on at a time when energy security and price is more important than at any time since the 2nd world war. Deluded scum.

Tovoc, for what it's worth, in my opinion you are never too far in the red to sell. It's a difficult thing to do, to sell at a loss, but it can often be the right thing to do - either to buy back in the same company if the price drops, or in another company where you see promise. This is not investment advice, just my honest opinion.

The planning committee LEGALLY have to apply government and council policy to planning decisions they make. If they ignore their legal responsibility the council are liable for costs on appeal.
