I was just winding Ella / Uncle Colin up :-) I’m sure all the majors will be on the look out for deposits of any decent / commercial size. We’ve had Anglo on the hook for more than 18 months already and in that time the market for copper has exploded… are they going to walk away now? I don’t think so!

I wonder what Anglo would choose, given the options, multiple sulphide deposits or super deep low grade porphyry? ;-)

Reasons for the drop in PGM earnings:
1. Decommissioning/ Recommissioning of Inyoni a one off occurrence. We don’t know how long it was offline.
2. Release of lower grade PGM material associated with 1. We don’t know how much this has impacted the earnings. Again a one off.
3. 35% reduction in basket price for PGM’s over the period, showing a recovery towards the end of the period and into the current period.
4. Transport costs for material sourced from Eastern Limb added $262 / Oz to the unit cost.

1 and 2 are one off occurrences and will not affect earnings going forward.
PGM basket price is not something I spend much time looking at but maybe someone has it calculated to see how things compare now to last period.
Transport costs will remain a negative until we have a facility locally on the eastern limb.

On the positive side our earnings should increase as a result of not having to give away up to 40% of them to partners.

A quick calculation (based on Jan numbers) suggests that from March onwards we should be generating about £2M / month in copper earnings assuming the ramp up completes on time.

Personally non of these short term issues change my opinion on JLP because I’m focused on the medium to long term and over that timeframe I’m sure even Homey must agree the future is very bright.

I do wonder if Ruffles is actually within the ARCM camp… access to the documents for the MOU between MM and Jubilee, various NDA’s etc… he seems very well connected!

I wonder who the latest one might be? We know from Remy (prior to the AA exclusivity agreement) that a near neighbour was on site multiple times, so that would likely be either FQM or Barrick. I’d be amazed if FQM are not interested with Sentinel not having that much longer left and our targets being pretty close to their processing facility.

Ella has to come up with a plausible story for the KAV audience as to why he’s acting in such a way on the ARCM board. No doubt the creep will be up to the same over there before too long. He’s sold his shares but continues to post…. Sound familiar? Anyway I have no interest in stirring things up over there, best of luck to them. One good thing for us and for them is that derampers never waste time on shares that are going nowhere!

Whatever happens to XTR, good or bad, will have absolutely no impact on ARCM. The fact is that majors are going to need any and all decent size deposits if they are going to get anywhere near the tonnage of copper that will be required in the decades ahead.

Would I touch any company that Colin Bird is involved in… not a chance.

I see that Ella's sidekick has shown up as if by magic! Between the two of them they have all of Colin's companies covered. Funny that eh? :-)
I'm surprised that they don't seem worried about the possibility of legal action against CB for his despicable actions... that could have serious consequenses for the share price of more than just XTR! As a shareholder in JLP I'm very glad he's been sent packing.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Ella10 since ‘she’ has been deramping ARCM for many months and saw the same pattern happening here so I thought I’d give you all a heads up… looks like you are already on the case though! A sly one for sure.

I’m not sure why you think there’s going to be a settlement when MM / BC are facing a criminal trial and may well end up with a prison sentence. Why not just wait until the case is heard? They can’t avoid court indefinitely. Unless they flee the country of course.

As with all derampers, they are only right until they are wrong and Ella’s narrative (or should that be Colin’s narrative) is diverging from reality at a rapid rate. I see that Ella is now trying the same nonsense with KAV in Botswana… funny that eh?

I suspect the Traders Cafe thing may be what’s driven the extra interest today, along with possibly people speculating on the Rackla /Goldenhawk deal getting finalised.

I’m a firm believer that charts show you exactly what has happened in the past but the reality is a lot of people use them for investment /trading decisions and so they become a self fulfilling prophecy.

It’s a pity you didn’t put the same effort into investigating Xtract as you put into Arc :-) I didn’t even realise they would bother drilling that deep!

As long as you are prepared for a journey to the centre of the Earth, maybe the grades look fine :-) I’m sure there are plenty of better options out there though.

Those grades at Bushranger look pretty disappointing!
