Whenever I see that the odious Ella has posted, I’m reminded of an incident that happened to a colleague of mine when we were working in Namibia. He was robbed in the street by a transvestite…. No really! Quite a sight to behold, seeing him running full pelt up the street in high heels :-)

The last open short I can see listed for JLP was in 2014 so I very much doubt he’s being truthful. Just stirring up trouble and best ignored.

Any shareholder worth their salt would do due diligence before investing. Clearly you didn’t so maybe you should be asking yourself some hard questions rather than pointing fingers at the company :-)

For me it’s already a multibagger which is why I’m perfectly happy with the way things are going.

Happydays, you seem to be ignoring the 10,000 tonnes that will start rolling in possibly starting as soon as this month. With Cu already over $10,000 / tonne and forecast to go much higher it’s hardly peanuts.

I do fear for those shareholders in XTR who seem so convinced that AA are going to offer them a deal despite us already having a deal on the table, almost certainly with AA, which is apparently acceptable to both parties. As Nick said when asked what apart from the court cases is stopping a deal from happening… “NOTHING”

What’s likely to happen to XTR’s share price when that is announced do you think?

We should be getting confirmation of the settlement being rubber stamped by the courts first, which could be a trigger for the more risk averse bigger players to get onboard. I think news of a deal could happen at any time once that is done… hopefully triggering a counter offer from one of the other interested parties!

I was having a look in the cadastre to see if there were any obvious changes nearby and I noticed the area to the North of Zaco has an application in from ‘Central African Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd’ which has long had an application which crosses part of the Afrimin licence. MM was involved with a company of a very similar name. Also one of the areas adjacent to Sentinel has an application from ‘Tonawanda Procurement Ltd’ and we know Tonawanda Drive is MM’s registered address in the US.

I guess when a deal for our licenses does go through then anything nearby will instantly become of more interest.

Hopefully we will see an RNS this month to confirm the Roan copper concentrator is fully operational and in production. Once that is confirmed we should be generating somewhere in the region of US$10M / month in earnings from that point, which might help allay any fears that we are spending beyond our means whilst expanding our operations. It's my feeling that this doubt is what's holding the share price back.

Anyway I'm here for as long as it takes, I still feel the story is just getting started with Jubilee.

Anglo American’s share price is unlikely to multi-bag over the next few weeks / months whereas Arc’s almost certainly is. I’ll take that over a small dividend thanks very much!

Thanks Turtle but there doesn't look to be much new in there, just a general map which I've seen elsewhere.

I saw this article about trialling passive seismic data to help better image the mine area at Kansanshi. It's a collaborative venture with Zambian Ministry of Mines, FQM and Oxford University. Good to see new techniques being developed due to the increasing demand for Copper and other metals. Who knows if it proves successful we may see it used on our licences too! I was in this industry for a long time so it's probably of more interest to me than most :-)

It wouldn’t surprise me if we get an RNS to confirm the agreement has been signed of by the courts today. I’m sure the topic will crop up during the talks with these various ministers!

A couple of overlay maps of our two licences in Kalahari Copper Belt, Botswana for anyone who's interested. The yellow pins indicate sedimentary copper deposits and the blue ones are visible copper at surface. I've also added the soil sampling results that Kapore did on the licences, indicating the presence of Cu and Ni at surface.

One of the maps I found indicated that the western most licence has had drilling done in the past but I haven't found any results for that yet. I know that all eyes are currently on Zambia (including mine!) but as we are committed to doing some exploration there this year I thought it would be worth having a look.

Oh yes I'd forgotten about Kopara.... they keep a low profile! :-)

I noticed in the Investor Call yesterday that Nick made a point of mentioning Dubai when asked about the timing of the RNS release. Clearly someone in Dubai (I wonder who?) was a party to the court actions that were planned. I think he and shareholders in his companies have had a very lucky escape there.... He wouldn't be stupid enough to continue to employ people to talk down the company would he?
