I tend to agree Fulmar. We know now that there is a deal on the table and that once the courts have signed off there is nothing in principle to stop them progressing it immediately. It seems they are prepared to give the other interested parties a window of opportunity to table an offer but that window will be relatively short with the urgency to prepare a drilling campaign for the coming season. I think we are looking at weeks rather than months…. Maybe sooner than that!

I worked out a range of PGM monthly earnings from US$6,300,000 ( 43,000 oz. and 100% Inyoni feed) to US$8,200,000 (48,000 oz. and 100% Eland feed). Taking the mid-point would mean US$7,250,000 / month (at current PGM prices).

Dorfan, if you look at page 11/12 of the last WHI note they are quoting a net basket price of around $1800 which is pretty much what I calculated for Inyoni. Eland is obviously a bit higher due to the Rhodium content.

I assume you are quoting numbers before costs and smelter losses although even then the basket seems very high to me. I’d be delighted if you are correct though!

Sounds like the delay has played out to our advantage… we would likely have already signed a deal if it wasn’t for the legal nonsense!

I came up with very similar figures based on the spot prices yesterday. Based on the monthly average figures it would be about $150-200 a month less. I assumed the extra 4% Rhodium was at the expense of equal parts Platinum and Paladium… not sure if that’s a fair assumption or if it’s been clarified somewhere?

I've been keeping an eye on KAV and POW to see if it might be worth investing at some point and I see he is 're-invested' in KAV with a view to possibly deramping them and also posting on POW as well. It really does look like all roads are leading back to Colin Bird. It's tempting to write to all of his companies and ask what's going on with this behaviour.

Yes Kully, Khoemacau is pretty adjacent to us! I did have a read through their website and watched the video too. Not a bad neighbour to have! I believe Sandfire are also in the process of getting approval for a mine nearby as well.

Copper / Nickel anomalies were identified but as far as I can see there was no further investigation.

That’s a lot further to the South from our licences Carling, a few hundred km I think. Although POW / KAV do have other licences in the Kalahari copper belt near to ARC under the KANYE name. I guess you know that already though.

Remy did say in the Investor Call last year that he’d been talking to Kapore for a couple of years with a view to purchasing licences there. That cash raise may turn out to be very worthwhile in the months ahead!

You can see how KAV and AFP would be interested in each other’s results… very cosy!

I hadn’t really appreciated the scale of our licences, they are more substantial than they first appeared. The interesting EM anomaly, which is next to the highly prospective Zone 5 area, is of a similar size to Muswema and Sentinel so quite an exciting prospect. Even more so when you look at the grades which have been discovered nearby.
