It’s easy to be right when you are being fed the information from the source and you just have to sprinkle it around the various message boards…. Isn’t there a term for that kind of information?

We are knocking on the door of 3p at last…. Good to see after so long in the doldrums. Not wanting to ramp (I have no intention of selling anyway) but I think we could see another big jump before too long, we’ve seen how easily the SP moves on relatively little trading. Onward and upward as Colin Bird might say ;-)

HH has been doing the rounds recently, including Dubai Expo last week, promoting Zambia as a good place to do business. I’m sure he doesn’t want that message derailed by corruption at home, hopefully this will be swiftly dealt with and Argonaut get their LEL back. Definitely A cautionary tale, and with our Zaco licenses up for renewal in August, one I’m sure the company will be very aware of. Hopefully it will be someone else’s problem by then though!

It’s pretty clear why he’s here… to wind people up! Obviously feels angry about selling for 6p and feels the urge to have a go at those who were smart enough not to. Put him in the filter bin and move on… you won’t get a straight answer out of a troll.

It’s pretty clear from yesterdays big rise on relatively little trading that most shares are being held onto very tightly. Ella is not having an easy job of it trying to persuade people to sell up! It also indicates just how quickly the share will move on actual news….

These antics will be resolved one way or another and the copper is just getting more valuable the longer it stays in the ground :-)

One of Mushinge's cheerleaders posted a link to a document on Twitter posted by another of Mushinge's cheerleaders. The thread was removed by the moderators. Personally I wouldn't put any faith in it unless it's confirmed by the company.

Rio Tinto are applying for licences all around Kansanshi as well as having a JV in place with Midnight Sun Mining on their licences over the Solwezi Dome outcrop, south of Kansanshi. RT have an earn in agreement for up to 75% ownership of MSM licences by spending up to $51 Million in exploration / staged payments. Clearly they are very keen to get a foothold in Zambia.

It just drives home the point that our licences are going to be of great interest, especially as we have multiple defined targets already and area-wide geochemical and geophysical data already acquired. Midnight Sun are still at an early stage with area wide-data still to be acquired and yet they can attract that degree of interest from a major... how much better is our position?

Please forward any concerns you may have to Anglo American, Rio Tinto and BHP. I’m sure they will include them in their due diligence.

It seems to me that neither MM or BC have any intention of ending up serving a jail term and these delaying tactics are just to give them some time to try and force ARC into a deal. If they manage to do that then they will disappear with a bag of cash, if they don’t they will still disappear before justice is served.

All ARC needs to do is wait….

Ella is always very careful to avoid saying anything which could incriminate him but the fact is everything he posts is done with the intent to mislead and cause doubt. That’s one court case I’d pay good money to watch! :-)

Thanks to Ella (via sewingmachine) for reminding me that I had some other thoughts on the geology and how it could affect our various copper deposits:

If you look at the geology at Lumwana you can see that the mine sits at the lowest point of a ‘V-shape’ of the source rock, essentially the copper rich fluids have been funnelled down to that point and trapped there. Similarly for Enterprise which is a very compact deposit completely surrounded by source rock. Sentinel is different in that it is not so constrained and can spread out much more, producing a long thin deposit.

If you apply the same thinking to our deposits;
Muswema is more similar to Lumwana in that it is surrounded by a ‘U-shape’ of source rock on three sides. This should result in a more constrained deposit with copper bearing fluids being funnelled into the U and trapped there.

Cheyeza is more similar to Sentinel in that it is not really constrained by the source rock so much and can spread out more freely. This is what we see from the EM data with a very large area of hydrothermal alteration (where hot copper bearing fluids have flowed) and also from the copper in soil.

Fwiji is a different case because it seems to be dominated more by vertical fractures which have been mineralised. How that might affect the copper grades is something as yet unknown but its interesting that we have seen some very good grades there from the shallow drills.

In summary I’m still convinced that Muswema will prove to be the best of our deposits because of its shape, but still plenty of potential at the other locations too!

All just my opinion of course, other opinions may vary.

The morally corrupt will often use the threat of litigation as a weapon (look at Trump as a prime example). Court cases are ten a penny, having them is one thing, actually defending them in court is quite another.

Why is Mushinge so desperate to blackmail the company and its shareholders into a settlement when he could just wait for the cases to come to court? The answer is obvious, he knows the cases have no merit and will fall apart under scrutiny. His only chance of getting a payoff is to try and delay the company finalising a deal and the longer things go on, the less chance he has of getting anything. Should ARC give in to these bully boy tactics? My answer would be no, because once they know you will give an inch they will come back to try and get the mile.

We are featured on todays Traders Cafe…. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not! Should drive a bit more attention our way at least.

I filtered Bushy/Plat Hunter shortly after the agenda became apparent (ie, the second post) but all of your replies have been very useful in reminding me why I DIDN'T sell at 6p, I DIDN'T sell at 16p and I WON'T be selling at 26p! Cheers BT.

As we have a bit more exposure at the moment I thought it would be a good time to reiterate what it is that makes ARCM's license area so special compared to those nearby. Have a look a this overlay map of the Kabompo Dome region:

You don't have to be an expert geologist to see that there is a strong correlation between the red bands and large copper deposits. The red areas are the older 'source' rocks from which the copper was stripped and later deposited closer to the surface. They have been pushed up during the dome formation. Most of the large deposits found around the dome are on or near to the margin of this band.

It's no coincidence that our licence area closely follows this red band and also that our major targets have all been found along its margins. There are very few areas left around Kabompo that have this geology at the surface and a good percentage of them fall within our licences. Is it any wonder that there has been such a high level of interest from the majors and also that we have been subject to a misinformation campaign of unbelievable proportions in an effort to get control of them. The potential here is massive.
