I would have thought Ella would be more concerned with all of those investments in Colin Bird companies given the recent revelations. Strange that subject never seems to get any response from ‘her’ when it’s brought up.

Ah I see you are another misinformation specialist… that is NOT the generally accepted position and Nick even said we are still in talks with them today. If you choose to believe that for whatever reason that’s your business but the fact is you are wrong.

If they had ‘walked’ we wouldn’t be in advanced negotiations with them.

I think that we can be 100% sure that the company we are in advanced talks with is Anglo American. Nick said that they were doing further DD around the court cases. That implies that DD has previously been done and to my knowledge they are the only company to have done that. They have now been in talks for well over a year... they REALLY want this deal to happen and I'm confident that it will.

I’d be disappointed If Mushinge and co. come out of this with anything but a criminal record but having said that if it gets a deal over the line then I won’t dwell on it too long.

Thanks Shorn. They would have been drilling to intersect perpendicular to the rock layers (that is, angled towards the NE) expecting to be perpendicular to the mineralisation also. I think this helps explain why they just grazed the edge of the sulphides. In reality they needed to drill towards the SE to intersect perpendicular to the sulphides.

Nick is hardly likely to give advanced warning of news to individual shareholders. Still it makes a change to have a ramper rather than the constant deramping we’ve had for months.

The usual suspects / defendants have been quiet lately. Wasn’t there a court case due this week, postponed from last week? I’m sure they will find a way to wriggle out of it again anyway!

A positive RNS before the AGM would certainly send the SP much higher so I guess some are prepared to gamble on that in the hope of a quick return. Of course no news and we may well resume the downward trend. Not having much spare capital at the moment I’d rather wait and see how things play out, I’ve already got a pretty decent holding as it is.

The thing it’s important to remember I think, is that we are still in an early stage exploration phase, with very large license areas and multiple large targets. No news at this stage doesn’t mean bad news. Every drill, including the ones that don’t hit any sulphides will all add to the overall understanding.

Ah, I should have checked the actual quoted price to buy / sell. It makes more sense now!

I’m not normally one to pay too much attention to daily fluctuations in the share price (that way, madness lies) but all of todays trades are sells yet the price is up. Does that mean there is some as yet to be reported buying going on?

Ben that’s fair enough, if I was in a position to add to my holding (which I’m not at the moment) I would probably wait to see if there is any news this week. I’m hoping for an RNS before the AGM with an update… but that might be wishful thinking!

As a change from the constant sniping I thought I would share what I think is the situation at Fwiji:

Frustratingly we don't have any exact drill locations for Fwiji but have been able to deduce them (approximately) from Google Earth and from the RNS details. I have put one approximate location for this years drilling based on the intersection of EM and XRF anomalies as stated in the RNS. The last drill was found to be sub-parallel to the vein direction which is what the EM anomaly shows on the map. To me it looks like there are two linear features which are likely to be due to sulphide mineralisation, this is backed up by the Cu:Sc data which shows anomalies in the same locations. This is just my interpretation of course but to me, based on the data we have it seems more likely than not.

The short version is that there are no court cases being brought against ARC, the only cases are those being brought against MM/BC by the Zambian prosecutor and in the UK by Arc. Obviously they cannot discuss these publicly to avoid predjudicing the cases.

No deal has lapsed. All that happened was the exclusivity period ended and Arc agreed with AA not to renew it to open discussions up to other interested parties. As far as we are aware discussions continue with AA as well as other parties.

Personally I wouldn't consider it either brave OR reckless. Based on my reading of the assets I would consider it very sensible but of course what you chose to do is entirely your own decision and not for anyone else to say.

They are very keen for shareholders to attend the virtual AGM this week so maybe we will get some answers then, if not before. I would register for that if you haven't already.
