RE: Is this the only thing holding up a deal?21 Dec 2021 14:36

“ Partly due to the impact of Covid as well as recent Zambian elections, there have been delays in the judicial system to hear the legal cases, which are likely to be heard and decided on in the first half of 2022. Attempts are underway to come to an agreement between the parties to avoid wasting more time and until such time the Company will continue to rigorously defend its rights. Our case is extremely strong and we have full confidence in the Zambian judicial system.”??With the drilling season now over (as confirmed by SP Angel yesterday), it begs the question, what time is being wasted in waiting for the court cases to be heard? To me it suggests that they are keen to move ahead with a deal with AA or (assuming Ruffles is correct) Rio Tinto. If this is the only thing preventing things moving forward then, if they do come to some agreement we could see something happening quite quickly.??Presumably any negotiations with Mushinge would include dropping the UK High Court action against him so anyone here with access to the details of that case might want to keep an eye on that!
