Another thing which I’ve found by doing a bit of reading on the geology of the Domes, is that the Upper Roan deposits are in the region of 500m thick so at some point around the fracture zone we should expect to be seeing mineralisation at that kind of depth. If we start to see that then we know we are getting close to the source. If you look at the Sentinel cross section, the deepest mineralisation in that section is around 460m.

Thanks Shorn, yes the flurry of green filtered messages made me smile!

I’ve been trying to put the pieces together based on what we know already and my opinion is that the mineralisation we have seen so far (including the oxides from last years drilling) are offshoots from the main source which have tracked up to the surface following the rock layers. I think that the main mineralisation is likely to be along the Cu:Sc anomaly which runs to the NNW and intersects with the anomaly they are drilling at the moment. I could be wrong of course but if I’m right then we could see something more significant in the next couple of drills. Anyway I’m confident enough that this is a significant deposit that I added to my holding yesterday, the success of JLP has allowed me to be a bit bolder than I might otherwise have been!

#ZambiaBudget2022 - the big announcement. Mining royalties can be deducted for income tax purposes once again, in line with international best practice. This is a business-friendly budget, but initially there may well be revenue losses.

Some posters are making (too) much of the fact that the first drill ‘only’ intercepted a few meters of sulphides. This cross section through the Sentinel deposit shows just how quickly you can go from a few meters to hitting the main ore body. Frankly, trying to imply that the whole area is uneconomic based on one drill is stupid at best and flat out lying at worst.

Comparing our first drill results with the Sentinel deposit, they are right on the boundary between medium and high grade. To hit that on the first drill seems a pretty good result to me.

I'm having a holiday from Ella as well, much more peaceful :-) Amazing how he is always hanging around considering he sold out most of his shares ages ago (if he ever had any)... keeping just enough to justify talking *******s at any opportunity.

They are definitely sending a message that even at the exercise price the shares are good value, at the current price they are a steal. It does make you wonder if it is reward for a job done.

Thanks Fulmar, I must have missed that nugget of information, good to know. Yeah I’m not going to shed any tears over traders losing a few quid! :-) They will be back as soon as sentiment changes.

Our target areas are so big that I think the best we can hope to do this season is to prove that there are sulphides present in multiple locations, ie, Fwiji, Cheyeza and Muswema. Fulmar has already said that he was told that the latest high-res airborne survey data is being shared in our NDA's with various parties and I think that is what they will ultimately use to base any offer on. If we manage to locate one or more of the ore bodies then all the better!

I very much doubt it's a deliberate attempt to tank the share price, just a lack of clarity in the RNS combined with lots of short termers selling out when they realised the rocket had fizzled out! In my opinion anyway.

Has anyone actually written to Arc to get some answers? I was thinking of putting something together but don't want to duplicate if someone is already on the case. I know there are a few on here who correspond with Nick fairly often!

Maybe we will get that investor call that was mentioned a while back by a few people. It would be nice to get confirmation on a couple of points;
1. Are there further assays to be expected from the first hole?
2. Were any cores from Fwiji sent for assay?
If anyone is planning to email Nick with questions maybe they could add these on. It’s true that the standard of the RNS’s leave a bit to be desired sometimes, we shouldn’t need to second guess what’s going on.

That’s very similar grades to all the big deposits in the Domes region and as good as the best ore bodies at Sentinel… got to be happy with that!
