RE: 6m massive sulphides6 Oct 2021 14:15
I’m sure this has been discussed already but the term ‘massive’ is used in the geological sense. It means a rock which is uniform in structure throughout. In this case it means that the core is mostly made up of sulphides, not just a few veins of sulphide running through another rock type. It’s a sign that the copper bearing fluids flooded through the rock and then deposited the sulphides throughout it, exactly what you want to find if you’re looking for large ore bodies. Yes it’s only 6m but they are drilling on the edge of the anomaly where it’s likely to be thinning out. Let’s see what happens with further drilling.
