Mstr holds Bitcoin rather than mines it and has been a stormer and a safer bet. Bitcoin will likely peak Nov this year and will likely head in to 2 year bear market. Solana strategies is similar but holds solana. Do some research and miners are risky but not as risky as hold explorers in my experience.

Yes agree this looks like either bottom drawer or quit out at 30 od % down. Second option more likely for me. Hard to imagine imminent good news after a raise like that and what about the next raise?

On a good day could reclaim that in a couple of days elsewhere.

Cc reckon you are correct. HMRC stopped fractional shares in my isa then changed about a year later and now can buy fractional shares. Very handy if you want to buy $1000 shares.

Surrey. I was the most realistic poster on Cnr and even my deal hopes were out. Purely because of the ious. However what Cnr posters mostly never accepted was that a very heavy dilution was needed to build the mine which probably equates to the low deal. However holders do have the chance of upside although it is questionable when and how much but the team are obviously better than Cnr.

For me , I keep the ious and will likely sell Mtl and possibly trade depending on how it goes but I have better short term options imv. Agree you can always come back further down the line and buy back in here when things are clearer.

I am wary on the geo politicals which are continuing to get worse imv. A problem in either project will hit the share price. You came on the Cnr bb bigging up Mellon, the 250 k quote was boring but very valid in hindsight wasn’t it? Time to stick or twist imv

Hi willow. Bit of a shocker that one. Near the end of the road with uk explorers. I am heavy in Bitcoin miners currently. Much more predictable. Risky tho. If Bitcoin pumps and it will at some point in the near future they will soar. Not for the faint hearted though.

Going to hang on here for now and see what gives but a small raise at such a discount rankles big time.

I held Shg till takeover a year ago . Went for around £150 m . Was a 100 oz 2 mine operator and a 2 m oz v high grade exploration project. I currently hold aris gold that has one of the highest grade mines on the planet in Colombia and developing project in Canada and Guyana. In a year their production will be doubled to around 500k oz production. They are currently valued at £500 m .

Personally think currently Mtl is full value for production levels currently. Did I really see simms and £1 b . Some things never change!

Yup, that’s a bit of a shocker raise over at palm. Even worse than the 25% discounted one here. My average is around 90 p. Will tough it out there for now and maybe add a few. Never claim that I don’t have downers. Most have been in aim explorers. That’s why I didn’t hold here all the way down to 2.5 p and need copious ammounts of new capital to get a 3.7 p average.

You are correct I havnt paid attention to raises over there. However it is a smaller holding than I had at Cnr or here. Always more to learn. Some though are incapable of learning lessons. I will let you know if it turns into a goer and you can come out with the hindsight guff!

This is why it is good to have a good spread of holdings. Would be much worse if one held mostly one share and stayed in it from 40 p to 2.4 p wouldn’t it?

Punter, same here. Sold some Cnr straight after announcement. Have some converted to Mtl so keep the iou and topping up in crypto related with the cash and probably start letting the Mtl go. Can always trade in or out here and see if any problems arise.

If sanctions are enforced with orangetan in power the sp is likely to do what it did when announced, ie tank.

I sold here over 2 years ago at 8 p. Take a look at the graphs for Mstr, Tesla, Robin Hood, coin, Bitcoin miners. In crypto Bitcoin, solana, xrp Sui. All and many more that I bought into. I don’t claim to be rich, but it is plain to anybody with an I’m above zero that moving to these plays was much better than holding Omi down to 2.5 p. 123 is excempted!

I have bought back with an average of 3.7 which I am fine with but the idea that you can mock someone for making better investment decisions and for sure predictions is frankly sad but it doesn’t affect my investment or decisions. Personally I always listen to other opinions or tips and evaluate. In January last year a deal was anounced for Shg. Jackbal was also invested. I sold immediately and bought more Mstr and clsk and said it was worth a look dyor. It’s up 700% since then. Maybe Omi will do that who knows. Dr, bit outdated with £300 k now but I guess it has escaped your notice that Bitcoin has carried on up to $ 100 k. Unfortunately I didn’t take note of advice until 2018 buying eth between $500-100 . Wind back the clock here doc 4.5 years and I was recomending Bitcoin at sun $10 k and of course I was buying from around $5 at the start of covid. Remember 4 years ago doc. Dr, you are correct mellons was a large investor and latterly chairman of condor gold. Kilconna, I use Cnr as a reference here often as I have travelled the whole journey albeit trading where possible. Some points.

Cnr had 3 I investors and Jim mellon early doors. The ifc being one. All except Mellon exited later at a loss. IFC changed its whole investment policy across the board. Two funds hit trouble. Each time one exited obviously the share price was hit badly for a long time. The last one hit Shg and aaz that I also held. Obviously having a I investor now is a good thing but further down the line it can be double edged sword just as having majors calling all the shots.

Ross Beaty who I am sure you will have researched was also a large holder for some years. I have watched many of his interviews and like Rick rule and many other experts he clearly states he would never invest in a company where the bod didn’t hold decent skin in the game.In all the years I held in Cnr the bod took decent ammounts in each cash raise and I reject the excuses for that not happening.

After a long journey a very good construction ready asset has been sold for not much more than the costs and famous billionaire Mellon has thus far made virtually nothing on his investment along with most holders.

When Cnr listed on tsx a consolidation was carried out at 10:1 for the reasons you gave. The immediate result was the sp halved immediately. A good buy op but it took a long time to recover. The volume was always tiny on tax so will be interested to see how the tax volume proceeds here.

Calibre was a small cap peer of Cnr that was valued similarly until the renowned Newmarket team took over. B2 gold had been a strategic investor in calibre and had two mines in Nica that were getting tired. Calibre bought the mines and issued more equity to b2. I swapped some equity from Cnr to calibre seeing it as a better option which turned out to be the case. I am sure you may be aware of the calibre story. My point is that respected teams just like ex continental at collective can raise serious cash to forward projects . Collective raising $45 m at a time .

You can see by the size of raises and the ammount of dilution that this is a whole different proposition currently.

Looking at outer I investors large range of holdings I am quite pleased seeing a number of shares I hold . A number of what 123 knowledgeably calls crayons related. A number of. Bitcoin miners, coinbase r hood r hood and tech like nvidia. Interested to hear how is advising his hnw people in regards to tech and crypto. Whether he thinks like 123 that everybody will sell Bitcoin at once and it will go bust😂. How are you viewing the establishment of strategic Bitcoin reserves ie company, us states and fed? A supply crunch coming.

Personally looking to gradually take profits from crypto and feed into extractives this year. Imagining that there could well be a pivot from crypto to gold late 2025. Any thoughts kilcona??

I have always had a similar strategy re trading / re buying going. Finished my re buying yesterday at 6.5 p. The spread is often quite wide so can make trading hard at times. Seemed to close up yesterday.

Karl? I have no intention of quoting my buys or sells. I have no need to validate to posters that think they can destroy someone’s views by quoting my holding compared to their alleged enormous holding. Apparently views are only valid if you claim to hold millions of shares . It makes no odds to me if you don’t believe I would sell at 9 and 9.5 p . Fact is you could and I did.

Trading just like holding is always a guessing game and got wrong on Monday selling some Mstr first thing and it has gone up since. It is part of the game as long as you get it right more often than not. Didn’t trade the recent mini spike as my limits sells were from 10 p.

123, trying to avoid eating time responding to you and your alter ego. However, to avoid your childish Claims of hindsight investing, I have a limit sell for 10 and 10.5 p .

As regards boasting, I think boasting would be claiming 3 m shares and villas on Spanish islands where the local population is being priced out. Each to their own tho.

My strategy , long before your creation here 4 -5 years ago was to trade to get more shares without committing more capital. I am sure that competing fonts of knowledge can inform me what is wrong with that strategy and why you seem to think it is not possible.I traded on the way down from 30 p and stated it then as my strategy . Hindsight tells me I should have sold and stayed out. Instead I traded on generally my a 2-3 p drop. Still better than sitting long all the way to 2.5 and did bail at 8 p.imagine holding all the way to 2.5 p and ramping all the way!

Each to their own but would advice caution with posters that have continually got things wrong.
