Stoneo, I keep a fairly good eye on burn and I don’t see a need for a raise for some time now however nobody saw the 18 p raise years ago. Most important thing is to raise at best price. Some think that the share price will be 20/30 p in a months time so it would make sense to wait yet. However it is also possible that the share price may be lower. Personally would be happy for an early raise because the market can work out roughly when cash is running out and share price and vwap recede. An early raise could funds us for drilling campaign. At the end of the day the more that goes into drilling the better.

Ad regards j/vs. The assumption that a jv means no dilution is misguided in my view. Any j/v will not cover Argentina, Africa and May only cover part of Colombia and also may not be a free carry. It also will not cover running costs that have been around 200k p month during hibernation.

E l, the only difference is Mtl cash is spoken for and until production nothing is guaranteed. There could be problems in either nica or Phillipines. If all goes well it will be a good investment if gold carries on for next 3 years however nothing is guaranteed . Producers banking cash is guaranteed.

I am holding on to a few for the long haul but majority moved elsewhere. Mostly in tech . Big bear done well for me. Good luck.

Glypo, agree . I have had a nice little journey in Altyn this last month or so and yes nica build is likely to hold Mtl s price behind general market imv. You take your choices.

Personally like to be free to move around but these bbs tend to be patrolled by fairly evangelical holders.

Don’t get me wrong , it’s is a good thing they bought but best kept in perspective. It is tiny but still useful to us, but a flea bite if it should sink.

My experience in Cnr was that the more noticeable thing is when a fund decides to sell . Knocks the share price for a longtime . Saw that happen a couple of times there.

Anyhow, looking like a decent base being made over 10 p which is good and nice buyback territory for 14 and 15 p sells. Could drop a bit more yet .

Mr didge. Getting 5-10 or 20% more shares than you sold makes perfect sense. You stick to your carp fishing and I to mine.

Karl, I actually said good luck to him and that I didn’t see a great buy back op. I did let a few go at that time but had just added some st 6 and 6.5 p days before! Also said good luck to you when you said you loaded up. Obviously trading isn’t for everybody but for me with little free cash it makes sense and generally works. Of course you can get locked out but personally, with a sub 4 p av it’s not a biggie and only letting fairly small ammounts go each time so spreading the risk. Would have thought if you have a very big holding then trading a small portion is hardly going to hurt you but hey we all follow our own path.although you may see the sp rise after selling there is just as much chance of kissing it on the way back down. Worth noting the long term charts for most explorers. Highlighted by spikes and retraces. Nobody lost by taking profit and 300% is a decent level to take profit for me. 14 p buyers have a small chance of seeing that imv! If you are used to trading some you are far less likely to then watch the sp collapse and sit on your hands . It’s just an alternative. Good luck to you with your strategy but it is not the only decent strategy.

Contrary to the last chance saloon at 14 p narrative one can rebuy 15 and 14 p shares at 13 p but clever Karl says you can’t trade here. Spread is fairly high but 5-10 % available there.

Karl, no porkies here. Peeps generally see what they want to see. I see 300% as a good place to de risk!

I sold some at 9 and 9.5 . Re out the same cash ammount at 7.5 and 7 . I then added a bit extra at 6.5 and 6 p.

Been letting small amounts go at 10.3 11, 12 and 14 p. 15 p still sitting waiting.

Dr, I wasn’t comparing ggp at all just replying to a post of someone who sold too early. Obviously ggp and Omi are not really comparable. If we want comparisons and m caps. You mention collective. Yes very good m cap for what they have achieved with extremely respected management. Now, are they a 20 bagger ? Nope not even a 3 bagger. Why ? Because of the vast ammount of cash raised to carry out the exploration.

We will get to the point where the sp will not rise in fact it will drop in the long road ahead. Where that point is is moot. I am happy with 200-300 % gains to de risk a bit and certainly do not intend to sit around accepting big drops when it inevitably happens.

That said, things are going nicely currently.

Nap, not interested in getting price down and not dumb enough to think a poster on a bb can do such a thing. I retain most of my holding and gradually de risking. Don’t want to be holding the baby when this enevitably dumps. At which point that is who knows.

In regards to ggp, there were peeps still buying in the 30s . How are they doing now? I am only letting small ammounts go and re buy if the sp drops 2 p if not it is de risking. Let’s see where we are further down the line

I assume this is what’s called the “herd”. Last chance to buy under 14?p. Personally very happy to sell shares at 300% profit. Let’s see if the 14 p buyers are going to make 300% . I make that around 55 p Hm. Small limit sell for me at 15 p and setting them at 1 p increments.

I hold aris which have nearly 20 m oz and heading for 450 k oz pa production, their m cap is sub £600 m .

Hi Rob. Yes the warrants. Interesting to see if they are still being converted. Bit odd to be converting and selling from 6 p if we are heading for 40 p do you not think?

Anyhow I am happy to re buy a few and pretty much maintain holding for now but with any selling if price carries on going it becomes profit taking. Either way I am happy.

Do you have an exit strategy here?

Ha ha yella. Yup. Of course you should expect profit taking. It was a lumpy rise yesterday and now a dumpy retrace. Still up nicely from 6 p last week.

Stoneo. It is not brads job to somehow react to a sudden rise and then retrace in share price. It’s your job to react to the share price by either selling, sticking or buying!

If you weee talking about buying yesterday then surely your job today is buying . Agree that spread often is high but not always.

Karl, for me the trade is to let small ammounts go at milestones. Looking for 14 p now. At some point the trade will be buying back but no I am not buying at 13 p. Was buying at 6 p a week or so ago why would I want to pay over double ?

Actually dr I prefer it this time around too. I never saw the majors in the same light as the ‘“ positives”. Your post there did make me laugh though at the similarity to your posts 4 years ago except the first line read 2 majors yada yada back then!

This is the banana zone imv. Cash is generally made in a short space of time. Not overly interested in longterm .When the pump stops the dump can be painful but it is fun right now. It will hit peak then spike re trace on news imv. As always really hard to second guess what level it will be because it is sentiment driven atm. Hopefully peeps won’t get caught out again here but obviously many will be posting v bullish when actually unloading and some will board too late.

quite funny to see peeps urging buying at 13 p when I was buying at 6 p a week or so ago! Always a bit worrying when you get an influx of new Uber positives.
