Nero ,gold is doing fine in relation to the trade war.cey has risen continually over the last 3 months,as has shg,hum now doing nicely.aaz too.didnt realise we were talking about the last couple of hours.
I am still hopeful for cnr further on but best to have more than one egg in the nest.

Cf.I think $110m was for 80 k $130 m for 120 koz.They also have other projects although at an early stage.
As aguila says the main difference is they are a producer .that is the kind of company that midcaps are looking for.no guesswork and instant revenue..No doubt if the gold run runs as we hope ,it will trickle down to explorers.I think where cnr differs from some 80-120 k producers is that often a company aiming to be a producer will aim to further their resource from income.i note from their site.8 years after discovery they are producing 157 k oz
It is hard to compare a producer with an explorer because there is still a lot of risk .I doubt we will get bought prior to production personally but £100 m £1 share ,4 bagger from here .that would be very nice.more realistic than some of the more unrealistic figures bandied about not so long ago.top dollar imo.
I note that it is almost 50/50 cash and resolute shares.thats the most likely scenario if it is going to happen imo.
I am still liking producers more but sub 20 p hard to much downside.

I have read a couple of the links to ukranian newspapers in regard to the dolphin process.one thing that sticks out to me is they mention none of the majors including bp are interested in bidding because they are involved with projects in Russia.I wonder why Georgia should be any different?

Zznic now have two cases against them for not honouring personal guarantees.I think the evidence so far is they are not to be trusted.personally I would rather see any relevant information cos we sure as fcuc arnt gonna get it from Frr

Known facts: frr misled us on mortgage terms,defaulted on it and reneged on personal guarantees.it is highly likely that asset movement is illegal imo.everything else is just noise to coin a phrase.
Just to add that over this discovery period !it applies to both sides so who knows what Hopes side will turn up.

Dave,I dont think theres any chance that it will not be supported by shareholders.calibre holders have had a tougher time than us up until the mangement re structure.
Merger has to be best for us.rb and Lundin have been in a few projects together .I had hoped to see Lundin pulled in to cnr.
Surprised though that rb hasnt increased his holding.

Dave lee,Calibre have to put it to their shareholders and raise $100 m.that wont happen till oct.but you never know.a merger would make sense although dont know where that leaves mc bonus but I would imagine a seat on calibre board could probably bring its own rewards ,should it happen.I could imagine toll deal still being discussed but nothing anounced till after oct Imo.

One probably canadian and other price usd .suspended I think presently .but had dropped from a high previously.More interesting how it is valued after the b2 venture in oct.

The shares are personal,guarantees,i suspect that whatever the shares are valued at at some point,most likely suspension,any shortfall will still be owed by frr.hence any combination.Its a slam dunk imo that hope will win that one and snzzaza will be hit with his costs.

Tsbs,as with oxs I think that is a very likely outcome ,and tbh who could blame them.
Hope is most likely to win this case ,that was the agreement and nicaza will be landed with personal costs too.not only is frr in default but also directors personally have reneged on an agreement.
The only known facts are frr defaulted,misled shareholders of the terms,directors havnt honoured their personal guarantees and kept hope,a director in the dark for a long period.oh yes and have kept shareholders in the dark.
Seems like a total fcup to me rather than a masterplan .
Happy to have a pleasant surprise in a year or two but meantime life beckons.

Nero,I think there are a number reasons why the sp is so low and I am sure there probably is an overhang.Unfortunately we are in an awkward phase and the market needs clarity on finance for the mine build .I would expect news of a toll deal to make a significant difference.I think anybody buying now should do nicely over time.But of course there are inponderables like politics,hold ups with permits,land aquisitions finance etc.right now cnr have a great resource but no proven plan for extracting it.when we have terms agreed for Extraction we should re rate but ultimately the real reward would be 5 years down the road when cnr is profitable if it is still independent.There are quite a few companies looking for distressed explorers that are close to development so we could see some action yet and calibre are in a hurry to grow.
I am positive from this level but it is not without risk .

Slim,I dont think its fair to acuse mc of **** and bull.There are many things contributing to the low sp.neros ever more ridiculous claim that it is the bear market is getting sillier by the day.However faithfully holding aim shares while they plummet is seldom good for ones investment.you could have sold out any time over the last couple of years and invested elsewhere. Or re bought lower.I have reduced significantly here over the last month and put more into producers.not specificaly through not believing in cnr but not having spare cash so having a swap around in the hope of making some back faster. Elsewhere.of course that could all end badly but beats the boredom of waiting perennially for news.I can take ownership of any loss or gain.
I may well buy more again here but suspect the next couple of months will probably not yield much but if we hit 15 p I will be sorely tempted to buy more.
