Jackbal, concur. Three aim explo companies, cnr , aaz and shg all listed around 2006 . Rob mentioned aaz and shg recently and aaz moving from a few p to 180". I abought into both around 4 years ago or so. Shg at my favourite 4 p price. Aaz around 40 p. What needs stating here is that their real momentum was not after drilling , it was when approaching debt free proven production and dividends and happened to coincide with Gold price move to ath. None of these companies are higher than the price they listed at cnr being a disaster for lthers and still not in production.
In the case of solg, I remember its tearaway to forties and its retreat back to where it started back 11 years agoor so, does anybody think it is good investing to wave goodbye to massive gains and sit around for 10 years waiting for it to return. For sure Buffet wasnt refering to minnows on aim or minnow investors , but one thing buffet and any other respected investor comes out with is bod skin in the game !!!
Pp is busy ramping wsbn atm , I bought at 4 p again, and sold last year at 16 p , rebought lower and again sold on next spike over 13 p and re bought gradually much lower. They are currently under 4 p.
I think when drilling starts showing results we should see some decent movement and personally I will continue my strategy of sell some on spikes and wait for pullback.
Not for everyone but every bb has posters claiming that just sitting on your hands is the way. I see little signs of it in non dividend paying aim shares.
