RE: Calibre11 Dec 2022 14:03
C f, kinda my thinking . Two mills, production and exploration potential, circa $100 m or cnr good resource but $105 m to spend and if some here are to be believed $200 m .
Gran colombia has a m cap around that and calibre less , doesnt make sense when they are turning up great grades and getting more concessions to me but perhaps they grab the feeder pits. Also Would expect calibre to want to at least part pay in paper which would be fine if it was a full take over but this idea of asset sale makes things more complicated and The idea of mellon and newly appointed cohort deciding if and when we receive (some/ most ) of the cash doesnt fill me with glee. What happens to the shell and how much does it retain ?? Iom registration ?
Shg is a good example of whats on the market with a current m cap of £100 m , moved up to about £130 on release of news of approaches . Soon a 100k oz producer with also a high grade exploration project in a different jurisdiction,
If we should get £100 m for assets how much do peeps think will be returned to holders. Obviously double it if you think £200 m is likely.
Personally I will get some in the open offer and maybe some on open market and look to offload a decent ammount if there is an rns confirming an approach. As 888 states, mellon made his first independent pile in Russia, in his own words , robbing grannies of their shares on the street like a mugger. Dont trust him further than I can p,,s. Personally hope ross and equinox hardball him.
