As I expected peeps idea of timetable over optimistic as usual. Getting to end of first phase now. This has many months to run with no guarantees but now we have something to back the sad so anyone wanting to de risk may have an opportunity. Personally I like that scenario.

Simms, all that is clear is , no news is no news! Radio silence from bod is more often than not not good news in my experience.
Agree slim, if there are serious negotiations we should be kept informed and the sp would react which would be good for negotiations. With a sp of 16 p we look like a bombed out aim explorer with not too many options. Nda does not preclude keeping us informed of the progress. such an rns may be close hopefully and then anybody punting now should be quids in. Good luck peeps.

Simms, the possible danger I see is that if they carry on giving no update we may find that sale disclosure is accompanied with a suspension of the shares. I dont find that a particularly desieable situation, I would prefer that we have announcements at the relevamnt stages and the market has a chance to value our shares. It could be that there is no real news just tyre kickers and due dilligence, and no negotiations, who knows.lets hope for some news this month .

Rob, you have told me a few times that all the experts disagree with me and forcast gold bullrun. I post a link to some experts and now you are rubbishing experts. Thats amusing. I wont bet on gold price or predict it because it is extremely hard to do so. I dont say it cant happen what I dont believe is that it is certain and that you can ramp up valuations on the back of hopes for the gold price. Can it happen , absolutely , can I bank on it , no. Perhaps you should do a spread bet on gold price. No tax for your gains ; )
I dont believe I am negative, I am not buying because I have enough already, is it a good risk reward at sub 8 p, yes ,was it a good buy at 25,and 35 p , obviously no. Will I pay 20 ,30,40 p ,no! I have done my buying but good luck to anybody paying those prices. If I have a cash inflow I probably would add currently.
you are welcome to your investing strategy just as I am free to invest in the way that suits me. I am not a trader, I do trade when it makes sense to and there is nothing wrong with that. If you can get yourself shares for free that is fairly sensible to me but obviously not for everyone.I have probably traded omi perhaps 6 times in the more than 4 years I have held. As for crypto , you dont have to like it. It works for me and That is where I do trade regularly.
Rob, I have been investing for the best part of 40 years and I am in property renovation. property is my biggest investment and bought and renovated my current home , a smallholding 2 miles from the sea primarily from investments . It is way above my payscale , that is why I invest and trade. I am asset rich , cash poor but funnily enough I have one of the blood sucking estate agents coming round today for a valuation . Agree they are crooks.Good luck with your property endeavors, it is the best investment imv, better and more predictable than gold imv.
Gold price has little more than doubled since 1981 peak look at the house price appreciation in that period. Always best to have investments spread imv and for me that includes crypto. Very best of luck .

Rob, you keep stating that all the experts predict the gold price is going to blow.Here is an interesting article with experts like the world bank giving their 5 year estimates. What is fact is that costs have risen considerably as is being shown in producers figures. Gold price isnt critical for explorer but always helps sentiment. Rob, I am here because. i bought over 4 years ago at a good price, am in profit nicely and am happy with my investment. I dont need to look far into the future with rose coloured binoculas to see my profit. 20 p would be lovely for me. Any more than that Will be a very pleasant surprise . I guess it is called managing expectations
It is unfortunate that because I have a different view you find that an issue and feel the need to be personal, but conversely if mr red is so wrong about everything how comes the sp is under 8 p and has been for quite a long time even though predictions have been for multibaggs .

I have an open mind either way but dont want to make the mistake of assuming. Over in cnr jim mellon is a 20% holder , a billionaire, has paid £1.60 p share in the past and the sp is 16 p with a 2.4 m resource fully permitted and currently around £30 m m cap. He has been calling $5 k gold for years. Funny old business .

Indeed toon that paste is correct and exactly what I have said here. I dont claim to be rich , I trade to increase my holdings without using new funds which I dont currently have. I have found that over the last couple of years being short has made me make wiser investing decisions. Investing is a good way for people that are not wealthy to even things up a bit, unfortunately it can leave them vulnerable to hype, I am not such a person.however aim trades do show that many are small and that there are many small investors and your attitude to demean someone for honestly stating they are small is offensive.
In relation to arb, also my comments were that I bought in on the rise from 4 p and sold at around 15 p within the month. I also said that I was selling quite a bit of crypto as I felt it was toppy . Since Then I have been buying back significantly lower. I am not wild about arb and it will swing with bitcoin and still not out of the woods imv. Not quite sure how if I am on your filter list you are quoting my words but hey. Dont stop believing was a quote of yours at around 37 p , then this will be back in the 30s soon but apparently you sold in 30s .

I am holding firm with my holding so not negative . If I were negative I would sell. Just more realistic than some and certainly wouldnt want to be ramping in the thirties while selling.

Dr, I am not saying we need cash soon. My point is when peeps want to use burittica as any kind of valuation method they conveniently neglect to allow for dilution over the next 6-8 years. So imagine raising 4 m in two years time at the present sp. and the following year etc. And conveniently forget that burittica was financed and largely constructed by the time it was sold.
As regards the sp in the future , there is no telling where it will be but many have been spectacularly wrong here for the last 2 years.obviously like everybody else I want it to go as high as possible and multiples from here are very possible and if that happens I will completely de risk and have a free investment. Majors are not immune. They also change focus. Shg high grade w kenya project was sold to them by barrick. Majors exit projects isnt so unusual.
Rob these examples arnt predictions, just illustrating the risks in these kind of projects . They are however examples of why using ggp as a comparison is folly imv. Currently protests in colombia at an oil project with hostages taken. Aus is the most prospective area of the world and doesnt have eln, farc and drug cartels to contend with.
Agree they have been doing work at other projects so it is reasonable to hope that carries on and increases hence my assumption of the last 9 months costs being replicated.
You will not convince me of certain things any more than the reverse, however debate is very much better than a love in , ignoring why maybe the astronomic valuations some have do not convert into reality. Agree gold may go on a run, but the one definite is that costs are rising fast generally as expressed in first majestics recent figures.
Omi could hit 1 billion shares pretty quickly when it starts. Imagine a £4 m raise at todays price for example ???
I just give food for thought, there are plenty of peeps here to give the dream scenario, however the reality is the last two years have certainly not followed the narrative no matter what reasons anybody wants to use. When we spiked to 20 s many apparently buying and selling the multiples story , my view was why pay 25 p when you could have bought at half the price a week ago. I am fully loaded here and not saying its a bad investment, at sub 10 p I see it as a good risk reward but I am not a believer that holding till the end is a certain plus, I believe the s p will most likely be at its best over the next couple of years before the well documented orphan period . If you think that we will be still here during production and enjoy 25% of the spoils then expect an 8-10 year wait for that which may be ok for some.
Rob, if you want to denegrate someone for a different view thats up to you. Portfolio failed to convince me that omi was about to 200-300% move in weeks. I will stick to paddling my own 4 p canoe,

From may 30 2022 - the recent rns we have spent just over two m in 9 months.does anybody disagree with that figure ? we have one incorrect rns end jan which has not been corrected which is poor. What seems obvious to me is that the figure given to bhargav at dec meet was most likely incorrect. with bhargavs telling that in the previous agm he was led to expect a much speedier process leading to phase two Bhargav made his 50 p by nov predictions based on conversation at 2021 agm. So you will have to pardon me if I do not feel contacting our ceo is worth my time. The sp did exactly what I said it would do on news of 2 m, spiked and dropped back .
I am not attacking bhargav, my comments about dilution are more aimed at the fantasy valuation methods used by many here. Note that I was at odds with portfolio a week or two back, his prediction of 2-300% in weeks is starting to look a bit suspect , no? . When not using ggp as a comparison they use the sale price of burittica . They fail to factor in the ammount of dilution that will happen or the costs of building a 250 k oz mine when making this comparison.
I agree with much that bhargav has posted . There is no likelyhood of dilution this year, mid next is my expectations. we wait to see what progress is in store and future spend. I would however prefer to see the cash used now for progress rather than treading water .
B, yes 2 m in 9 months is certainly better than 1.5 m in one. Justt as a correct rns is infinitely better than an incorrect one. I am not saying that 2 m in 9 months is bad but if you projected that going forward that would give 18 months which takes us to the end of q2 . Thats my calc .

E l, I dont believe it pointless, I believe it is part of the regulatory process to declare price sensitive news. I have seen them numerous times. There is always caveat that there is no guarantee of finalising etc. Shg had two chinese suitors but failed progress a deal . Personally, I believe that the lack so far of a similar rns means that the process is somewhat slower than many were predicting which doesnt surprise me at all. Hence the ceiling of £5 m for the open offer to cover an extended period if needed. Hopefully we will get a rns stating the state of play before we enter q2.
Yes e l, I would certainly like the option to sell my shares. What I do not fancy is having a process that gives no progress rns and ends with completion, suspension and waiting for a payout of which nobody has a clue how it will be configured. Hopefully that will not be the case

Bhargav. Ok forget january. 9 months ago we had in excess of 4 m . Now after receipt of 2 m we have again just over 4 m . Thats it ! 9 months , 2 m or are you suggesting none of the rns are reliable. I never said dilution was imminent, what I have said is that next year it will start. Probably q2. Ok maybe half by 9 months is maybe an exageration if we are going to do naff all. .When peeps make their guestimates on sp they never make estimates for the level of dilution for a project that has 4 years for phase 2 from finalising it and a couple more years more for the final leg.
Nobody forcasted the last raise ! As I said it would be imprudent to leave raising cash till your last couple 100 k.
We wait to see what happens with other projects which may well work out nicely, too early to say. Good to have a geologist on board here . I think having the figure for average cost per ounce in the ground is a good way to make reasonable forcasts for how much $20 m proves up .

Bhargav, do you disagree that Omi have got through just over 2 m in the last 9 months?? That’s the only figure I need.
I agree there is no danger of dilution this year but will be looking at it q1/2 next year. It would be imprudent to go under 500 k before raising imv.
I won’t waste my time contacting , I trust him less than you do . All that I need should be in the rns !!
I hold here with my own view on things. If I turn out to be wrong ,all the better for me and you. I am as usual less likely to be disappointed because I have lower expectations.

Something a bit cranky with these figures to me but the simple answer is over 2 m spent since june 2022. 9 months. 8-900 k in the past 3 months if you accept the nov figure 2.9 m
We will see how the burn turns out by the next quarterly. I think we can expect to wave goodbye to in excess of 1 m by sept. I was using 9 months and using the 9 months burn from last year. Not scientific granted.
Good luck chicken, you will probably be buying back cheaper if you want . I think it is fairly easy to tell who is genuine or not here. bod cant even put out an accurate rns and reward themselves for holding little, we really have to make the best options for ourselves.

Nero, peeps have discounted book5 when they have heard things they dont want to hear but have taken note when comments have suited . Fairly predictable. Chinese makes sense, lets hope that leaky leaky has a positive effect on sp because I dont want to rely on a pay out from an asset sale whenever and would prefer to choose my own exit point. We await some formal news. Irrespective of nda an aproach is price sensitive and we should expect rns imv.

Bhargav, ok so company is incapable of issueing correct rns in quarterly statement, not very re assuring. So B, am I correct in saying if omi had 2.4 m in dec and around 4.2 m at the end of may that omi burnt around 1.8 m in 6 months ? At the same burn rate £1.8 gets us to sept ? But omi have probably spent around 3-4 00 k in last 3 months. Reminding me of dragons den trying to get to the real figures.

Bhargav, its not according to me or jack it is according to omi rns's . Have they made mistake? It is hard to imagine how they have burnt so much in a month absolutely. Are they not able to issue a correct rns , maybe! Guess we wait til next quarterly or a rns correction. Personally, I think confetti will start next year, no need for sarcasm, best to save that for posters predicting 2-300 % increases imminently imv.
Imp, in regards to dilution, it is the general way of funding. However this has been one of the bulletpoint sells for omi, no dilution. However if peeps want to use burittica sale as a reference point as they do for parabolic sp prediction but never factor in dilution levels to come. Obviously hard to predict but guaranteed to be multiples of todays shares in issue. They quote sale price of continental that included construction costs and 10 years of funding . Hell, just annual bod presents will help that along. Yes of course any dilutions will be discounted and with attached warrants. I believe it best to be realistic or it could get painful.
It is also fact that quite often it will be needed to raise cash when the sp is not at its best and becomes a never ending story that sp drops when dilution is forcast .
For ballance, we have to see what the other projects may turn up. They obviously will need funding though! For me , I am happy to reach 15-20p and de risk totally. Many spanners can be thrown into a 10 year project in this space, free carry for me is what I am looking for not continual adding of cash. Just my strategy obvs and no good if you are in at much higher price than today.

Djackbal, agree, the longer it is before drilling the more cash omi will leak and then the start of confetti next year. When peeps say we are fully fundedthey mean Phase two of drilling is funded, omi funds will not last much more than a year imv, that leaves 3 more years just for phase two, then theres phase 3 and the other projects. Many years of funding needed meaning many years of dilution. How many shares are peeps expecting at the end of phase two in four years??? Kinda need that figure to come up with the *** packet calcs.
