Nero, you may be right. I have always thought if f m were interested they would have taken part in the fundraisers since the mill deal. They have encountered problems with the Mexican gvnt and no matter what peeps here think, there is still the possibility of further deterioration in geo political sand sanctions. I don’t think they are going to take any risks with a 4 year wait til revenue personally but could be wrong.

Pdp, calibre bought b2 assets for $100 m with 2 mills and have proved up lots of high grade from revenue . Cannot see why they would pay your $200 m plus another $100 m build for Cnr. I think mako might be more likely . One of the highest grade pits, expansion going through , more likely possibility, looking for acquisitions. but still Chinese makes most sense.

Hi rob. I posted those predictions in response to you claiming that all experts predict mega gold price. They are not my predictions , I have an open mind to any possibility and can see a good possibility of gold hitting new highs this year. Unfortuntely it is of no conseuence to omi as we see today . My producers are going nicely and explorers heading negative. This move also doesnt tell us anything about the gold price in 1,2 or more years time.
Bitcoin, has risen about 35% in the last wweek nd outperformed gold by some waqy this year.
I know you re anti but there are some interesting things ahead imv. Condor ceo recently talked about funding through crypto and the fact that gold will be tokenised which absolutely is coming . Gold will actually be helped by blockchain and defi. You will be ble to buy a gram a week if you want , using £,or bitcoin or usdt . So gold wont be only for the well off. That will be good for gold imv . You can accumulate over years a grmtion of house prices that have way outperformed the gold price in the nerly 40 years I have owned property.
I am not saying your $2500 cant be achieved, even this year and being goldq heavy but it still doesnt mean to much for omi sp as we see today. This will be news driven , and even then will be volatile.

Ccc, when you mention proven reserves , do you mean proven reserve circa 650 oz. Or are you referring to the inferred , indicated? I think mentions of 10or 15 m will not make too much odds. As we see calibre bought b2 assets for less than anyone here thinks Cnr is worth with 2 mills and has proved up lots of high grade ozs. They didn’t overpay because there may be millions of unproved ozs.

Hirsch, yes I imagine paying the m cap of calibre and then funding a mine build and waiting another couple of years for any income is very likely on the back of a short term spike in gold price.
