Punter , I paid around 31 p . Even de rampers can get it wrong lol. Havnt got any free now unless I unload something else. Not keen to put much more in . Want to keep my average close to 20 p just in case. This drop is a bit worrying , didn’t expect sub 30 p . Gives newbies a decent risk reward tho.

Isle, Well actually I did raise the fact that it is a double edged sword and that they mothball projects. Unfortunately the only narrative that peeps listened to was 2 majors , free carry ggp many multi bags not far away . We are a minnow at the mercy of the giants and unfortunately the bod has no credibility to be able to raise enough cash to progress this.

Even if this goes into phase 2 they only have to spend $15 on phase two which is peanuts in exploration terms. Collective recently raised around $ 28 m to progress their project.

Personally I think a tie up with a mid tier is preferable to a major. Someone like aris gold or equinox that will be in more of a hurry. I have reduced considerably , thankfully a fair bit at 8 p the rest around todays price.

There’s a years worth of cash left til the printing starts , I hope it’s not going to be spent wrangling with the majors!

888, the fact that the sp of calibre as well as Cnr crashed with news of sanctions shows that Nicaraguan miners are hostage to a fair degree to U.S. sanctions to Nicaraguas political situation. The fact that thus far it hasn’t affected producers is no guarantee that it will not in the future. Political situation is worsening continually and I wonder what would happen if Wagner appear in Nicaragua as they have in Mali , car and Sudan what may happen. Hopefully Cnr will be sold before any such scenario could possibly happen.

Polo, we are talking about 40 p warrants soon to expire. Obviously the awarding of Mellon of a huge ammount of warrants for essentially a two month bridging loan plus interest obviously makes 40 p warrants that are close to expiring a much less attractive buy especially with the sp being significantly lower. My point is that if peeps are expecting £1 they are still great value. However mc reward has been lowered from £1 to 40 p.

My guess is they will expire. Don’t believe they can be extended.

Anyhow, some news needed here to move forward on the sp it seems.

Personally, I don’t think that warrants would be precluded. Since peeps are now hoping for £1, a buy of warrants at 40 p would be a very big shot in the arm for the sp and would expect sp to move to similar levels from its present point . So come on st Mellon of the tax haven .

E l , good luck with the buying. Regardless of peeps expectations low 30s is a good short term risk reward. 50 p would still be nice from 32 33 p . Anything more would be great but generally best to manage expectations and perhaps have a nice surprise than always be over optimistic and then have to justify it imv.

Wish I had swapped more out now. It’s a lesson though that only looking for the positives can be very painful. I did try pointing out the downsides of having majors dictating everything. Still constant references to ggp. This isn’t ggp or Australia .
Epic , risky, depends how confident this will go north any time soon. What is the news that will spark a significant rise. Majors are rolling over nearly £4 m overspend from the sound of it so 1 year covered there of phase 2 , whenever that period starts from. Best case sept.
All we need now is the next round of extra cheap options for job well done.

E l , but most here thought sanctions would have no effect and simms reckoned saint mellon would just dip in his pockets and pick up the tab. Interestingly mc alluded in one of the recent vids that he wanted to move it further towards production before sale but was over ruled. Truth is I think sale was always first choice with production plan b and they have never been clear just like the dollying about maybe 40 k oz , maybe 100 .

Obviously the answer about Cnr valuation and is generally true for explorers is that the early phase is where you are the best rises , followed by many years of proving up and large costs. Ggp is a good example . Obviously the pog does have some impact. We have been in the well described orphan period.

Map, have you got your children to deal with them. I am not as old as you. But get my kids to deal with techy stuff like problems with password etc. I just can’t see how you can be permanently kept out of an online acc. Surely it is a case of re setting passwords and possibly I’d confirmation.
When you talk on the phone you must do an I’d check? Once that is done you should be able to to sort out your issues. Something to think about is maybe sending a letter giving your kids power of attorney on your acc. don’t give up but open an acc with someone else, you could possibly get them to help transfer your holdings. Are they in a pip or isa?

Mellon told his followers to buy Cnr for gold production of 100 k oz last year and 150 k oz this year then proceeded to stiff them with a great big 15 p dilution and lots of 3-1 options . I don’t share the hero worship of the tax dodging , granny robbing non dom .

Mm, personally been adding producers on the dips over the last couple of years . I like equinox calibre for growth and got a selection of dividend payers. Aaz is worth buying every time there’s a border dispute with Armenia as they get hammered. Aris is nice dividend and good expansion.
Very much like gold producers , Bitcoin miners react to Bitcoin price, generally more so and you can have them in your isa unlike crypto. Clean spark and marathon are my ones there but have done ok a couple of times in arb . Deffo pays to trade there. If/when Bitcoin hits $50/60 k their price will balloon . Obviously if Bitcoin goes sub $20 k they are very vulnerable.
I like to be spread over sectors and have been adding a few techy stocks and greener stocks like solar and hydrogen during the drops.
quite a lot could change by the time we get paid out , unless you sell on the open market. I don’t see cash before q3 at earliest, particularly in an asset sale scenario.

Simms I am not sure mc has been that clear. I took his comment about winding up the company as being the Nicaraguan company. There will be costs also in an asset sale . Hopefully we will go towards a full takeout. Note the Canadian preference for swapping paper as in b2 or cash and paper ad in calibre deal with b2. Personally would be happy with b2,calibre , equinox paper .
