Simms, I don’t believe the purchase of the mill was a ramp. There has been a constant all options open here. Now back to mellons 100 and 150 k oz predictions for last year and this that everybody wants to gloss over. Sanctions announced in November 2022 are not responsible for there being no 100 k oz production last year or 150 k oz this year!It was a ridiculous claim aimed at potential investors by our largest investor and now chairman . Extremely poor wouldn’t you say and you were stating ridiculous nonsense to back up this ridiculous forecast .

Simms, when Mellon sold the idea of 100 k oz production last year and 150 this year, I was the only person on here to call it ridiculous nonsense. (De ramping). You were inventing scenarios to try and add reality to his claims. If you read through your last 5 years worth of posts I think you will see that you have been over optimistic in the extreme and rarely correct.

888 still hasn’t confirmed since he declares that we were always going for sale , whether mellons statement was , stupidity, barefaced lies or just general ramping? One things for sure , there is no production and plan b is small scale.

Frenchie, if I assumed anything it was that you have probably had to invest considerable further capital to get an average of 33 p. I don’t have free cash so trade to keep my average down. Hopefully you have also perhaps seen a couple of opportunities. The general attitude on here has been keep buying and sit on shares till the end which clearly hasnt been great strategy.

Frenchie, same here. I am around 22 p but only by ignoring most of what is said on here and trading when sensible. However it still remains to be seen how much premium you will get on your 33 p 13 year investment. Just watching r rule stating the dollar loses 7% pa . Wonder what it is for£.

Anyhow, let’s hope for the best result possible. The previous 13 years are gone and now we can only hope for the best case . My best case scenario has generally been lower than most here and continues to be so less likely to be disappointed. Hopefully we all get at least our cash back.

Simms, perhaps you could explain how calibre that have aisc a bit higher than Cnr and producing 250 k oz of gold currently have around 50 m in cash . There is something missing there isn’t there ? Like exploration costs and a number of costs not covered by aisc.

Benn , personally I think if mc has a reward if sale clears 40 p , any likely sale should be above this, how much is up for debate of course. Personally I have always thought around 50 p based on around 230 m shares fully diluted and yes that’s a decent return if you are not a lt holder and bought just after the 15 p price crash.

Did you pluck that valuation out of thin air or do you have method or comparison?

I think the idea that mc is attempting to blag seasoned mining executives with plan b is rather fanciful 888.

E l. I think there has never been on plan only. Mc alluded in one of his interviews that his choice was to head to production and sale . Continental sold Burittica project to zijin close to production and I think it was a good plan as the closer to production the more value. Currently any purchaser has two years before production and another couple before payback,ie 4 years from purchase. When you can buy producing mines that will give you income straight away. As stated in rns and you point out, finance was torpedoed by sanctions but finance could be somewhat easier now. Any plan B will obviously entail more dilution. If mr non dim wanted 18% on his £1 m loan god knows what terms would come for 30-40 m and interest rates higher.

I do not recall mc stating that Mellon would finance plan b ?

He does state that he has been very supportive ( many cheap warrants and options). What needs bearing in mind is that with outstanding warrants etc Mellon is probably close to the threshold for takeover notification I would guess so probably doesn’t have too much runway to add further without this scenario playing out

Simms, correct all warrants and options will be calculated at point of sale. This is why I have always calculated a fully diluted number of share when calculating possible sp unlike most here. Agree there is no reason to cash in 40 p warrants when you issue yourself 16.666 m at 15 p .

I am interested in your declaration that we have plenty of cash til the end of year . Have you heard this from mc or is this a simms fact?

Icb, I am talking about his bonus now 40 p was £1 . It’s there in black and white , just got to open those rose tinted peepers.

Ddd, well I guess the rationale is, if the bod think this is worth multiples of current price then 40 p is cheap if we are about to be bought up. However since mc has his incentive now reduced to 40 p any sane investor can see that the management see value somewhere above 40 p but no where near £1. Obviously the 40 p warrants are supperceded by many Many cheaper ones and there may be more to follow yet. No way were they going to be exercised. Leaves a bit of leeway for a few more cheaper ones.

Most goldies are falling atm for obvious reasons. So 888 reckons when the pog has a rise the eager beavers are busy raising their bids. So it should then follow that they are now revising them down ?? Good opportunity to buy if you think this is a nailed on 70-£1 deal. So who’s buying?

Might have a little tickle if we drop any further but bit concerned at the lack of progress news. Still in decent profit so not panicking. YET!
