Simms, I think last oct rns states pretty clearly that Mellon does not want to fund this project. I still do not get your logic that states £1 m will last 6 months when Cnr had £2.5 m at begining of jan and has raised £1 m 6 months later.

Agree that Mellon has more 15 p cheapo warrants to cash to keep us topped up. Obviously he sees value to him converting but doesn’t mean he sees your 50 p plus .

£100 m could be the number but perhaps it is less, we won’t know until an offer is announced and even then we won’t probably know how that equates to a share price return.

I think the various vaguenesses of the process is what is holding the sp back but we do seem to have established a firm base now hopefully.

Shg is closing in on 100 k oz production and a seperate Kenya resource higher grade than Cnr and soon to be as large. M cap around £100 m and spiked to around £125 on news of 3 offers . No deal happened . You just state figures that suit your ever hopeful narrative. I agree £100 m could be the magic number here but that won’t give peeps 50 p plus imv

You do not know what is considered a reasonable offer or how many shares will be in existence if a deal is finalised.

Personally I think the opaque nature of this process and timespan is part of the reason for the sp being stuck mid 20s. Agree that we need a binding bid to get sp rolling .

Yes we have 3 site visits many months ago, 8 months after the launch of this process , a decreasing No of ndas and as yet no binding deal. Does it mean there will not be one , no . Does it guarantee one, no! Suck it and see but obviously the lower your average the better . The market not this bb or posters values the company. 23 p currently .The market wants something tangible ie a confirmed binding offer . No fiddling fudding horse dung posting is going to give a pump. Could come at any time but it does seem that there should be a timescale not an open ended yard sale.

E l, I have posted link before but will mention again. Royal rd disposed of its 50% j/v to Hemco for $22.5 m but retained a 1.25% net smelter royalty which is quite standard. There was also a payment of around $5 m to Nica authorities from memory. Royalty payment is more likely to be the reason for asset sale than some of the tenuous explaination given imv. Actual income in a couple of years to keep wages flowing or royalty could also be sold separately.

I have experienced many takeovers and asset sales but not a company selling its sole asset in asset sale. In a takeover yes bod would recommend offer and it should be voted on.

Asset sale is less clear but perhaps someone on good terms with mc could ask for clarification on the procedure in an asset sale scenario. Agree Bdn , further offers would be valid.

E l, you would imagine that since the sell has always been a new mine, employment etc that it should be unlikely to not build mine but hey they let us away with calling clearing scrub as starting construction when it became obvious that construction wouldn’t start 18 months after granting permits, still describe the project as almost construction ready so anyone’s guess.

The eggs in one basket is one of the reasons I don’t see calibre paying big bucks but paper makes sense which I wouldn’t mind to add to my existing calibre shares.

E l. At the time of the calibre deal many here said it wasn’t a good deal. It was completed at close to the highs of most goldies in 2020. Calibre sp has since trebled but most gold producers sp are significantly down since then .

Calibre are never going to pay treble or more that they paid b2 in a worse market. $150 m tops in cash and paper imv. Here’s a link to that deal

£1 p s would give a price of £210 plus another $€110 m for mine build . Then a two year wait for production. Calibre paid $100 m for b2 assets including 2 plants . Yes Cnr has most of a ball mill. Cash and calibre paper is possibility as in b2 deal.

Hi broom, that will have been when there were less than half the ammount of shares obviously. Think 40-60 is realistic with 50 p being my guess which I would be happy with . Let a few go around 34 p, regretting not offing more but that’s life. Didn’t actually foresee such a pullback.
