The SP is holding up very well indeed considering the total silence of the BOD on the subject of Inmaculada mine ! I am happy to just hold and wait for (hopefully) good news. In the mean time I jumped in and out of Cobham today and made just a modest 5% in the turmoil - helps to pass the time while waiting for the HOC RNS ! Regards all - news MUST come soon surely ?

Ag just hit $US 18 again and Au is at $US 1234.56 - very progressive - LOL Can we break 18 and 1300 soon and HOLD ? Answers on a postcard and send to HM treasury - LOL Regards all

noggers - I think we have all said our piece - useful info etc - and now we just wait for the definitive RNS - until then the SP will just go sideways unless we get a major rise in Au and Ag prices - at the mo the two prices are actually slowly going down looking at the 30 day charts. Regards

Looks like Ag hit the glass ceiling of $US 18 and bounced back again. Turbulent day across the SM today - some big drops and one or two big rises (on the back of excellent published results) Our day will come - I feel safe holding HOC shares but can't help casting sheep's eyes at other companies shares - LOL. Each time I am tempted to buy into a big company I see a Toshiba or Rolls Royce disaster announced !!! I am still smarting from the big drop in SOU shares the day after I bought £30K worth and the subsequent drop in LMI when I bought in low and it dropped another 5% - i am now sitting on my hands till end March when the HOC situation will be resolved - I am watching PMO but will not buy in before July when finances are sorted and the FPSO is soon to arrive at Catcher. All in MOO ! Regards all

Nada Eish ! Nothing much to move the SP now except RNSs - Another buy by VanEck or other II would be a big boost ! I think the BOD will be forced soon into a RNS report - even if it only says AIB will report soon ! I am happy that our SP is holding up despite upsy downsy daily swings ! i am presently making as much today as my wife makes in a year in her safe investments - LOL regards and GL

VanEck must have been told that the Inmaculada problem will soon be resolved IMO otherwise they would not have bought such a large lump of HOC shares - so this is the tacit reply to my E mail ref reassurance ! maybe coincidence but who cares ! Friday saw a very big rise for mining companies like KAZ FXPO ANTO etc so hopefully we will do the same this week ! My target for Ag in the next 6 months is $US 21 and Au $US 1350 If Inmaculada comes back on line soon HOC will rapidly make up any monetary losses in not just Inmaculada but in all its other mines as well Regards all and GL for good news next week - I guess VanEck (a very big US ETF company) knows full well the value of HOC shares - buying an extra £ 1.4 million worth on Friday !!!

KUMS - Hi - excellent reading - but the elephant in the room IMO is that HOC is already PRODUCING massive gold and silver metals whereas other companies like SOLG for instance are only exploring and identifying assets underground - and in the meantime are racking up major debts and only staying in business by selling millions of new shares on a frequent basis. Yes the SP of the company may rise sharply pro tem but until the company actually digs the stuff out and sells it - rien ne va plus! (nothing goes forwards) HOC ticks all the boxes for me and if not for the Inmaculada accident I think our SP would be well through 300p by now ! Regards and GL with your own plans - I watch with interest to see if Ag prices motor up in the next few weeks and if AU continues to shine !

I make that about 11% UP on the week for good old HOC - incredible when you think of the "Sword of Damocles" hanging over our heads. A RNS next week announcing the re-opening of Inmaculada will shoot the SP upwards IMO but the 27th February for PMO conference is looming so that may be the use by date for information on both mines. HOC also has two other very rich mines presently producing and minor ones being expanded and developed as well as "brownfield" sites in PERU CHILE and ARGENTINA for later development. Hen - sadly NO - I have not had a reply to my E mail requesting a progress report but it is all probably "sub judice" and you can go to prison if you divulge any inside information ! We will just have to wait and make sure we are IN when the RNSs come out. Looking at the video of Inmaculada I cannot believe that they would close and abandon such a huge and valuable mine which employs so many local people - depending whether it is a main tunnel collapse or a minor tunnel - there are ways of circumventing the hazardous area. Until we get the definitive report we will have to wait with finger poised on the BUY or SELL button !!! I am encouraged by the way the SP has gone up 10% since COB last Friday so I think the market is NOT expecting really bad results - all IMOO Regards

The market is waiting for news on Inmaculada and the results of excavating the new Pablo veins at Pallancata - although today's RNS gave us a boost the fog will not clear until we get those two RNS results IMO. I think the market is holding back judgement at the mo but does not like the uncertainty Regards

Hen - why worry about $US 18 ? The boys are telling me that Ag SP will soon be up to $US 500 - yes FIVE HUNDRED PS I am a bit worried that the brokers they used are D Duck and M Mouse - is that important ---- LOL Bit of fun guys - SP doing fine at the mo Regards all

I think we are still about 10% UP on SP from COB last Friday so - provided we hold about this level I will be quite happy ! I did buy you an Iceberg lettuce at the supermarket but do not have your address so my wife and I ate it ! But it's the thought that counts - LOL Regards

I found it impossible to log in to the LSE site this morning - very annoying. But looking at the upsy downsy SP this AM I was better off shopping - LOL Nice to see a RNS giving good news for us all - Can I say Buy Eck it's champion news - LOL Last time I looked PM prices were down again today - reverse Trump effect ? Wolf - the highest price for Ag was $US 50 in 2011/12 when Au hit about $US 1820. If you look at the 30 year charts that was the peak year so looking at even $US 35 for Ag or $US 2000 for Au is very optimistic indeed - but if it happens I will be the first to say well done ! I think I was right ref the after business selling - Total short position now down to 0.79% ! Blackrock down and the only listed shorter now and Marshall Wace has disappeared below the radar - probably pulled out completely having lost heavily on its bet that HOC was going "down the tubes" Looking better all the time for longer term investors. Hello Wolf - have you read up all the history on the BB or researched the HOC home-site ? Main thing at the mo is the flagship mine Inmaculada has been shut down for a week so far due to a tunnel roof collapse which killed 2 contractors men - we are waiting for a RNS to announce re-opening of the mine. The other main item is the progress being made on new "Pablo" veins in the Pallancata mine. Pending news on those two items the SP is holding up very well but following the UP at opening then DOWN to trip out auto sells then UP later on pattern - SP is UP about 13% over the last 7 days so doing very well. Next significant date is 27 Feb for the PMO conference and then end year report first week in March. Regards and GL with this excellent share - compared to AAL and GLEN and other big companies HOC is doing extremely well IMO
