I have spent all day trying to make the useless LSE site respond and finally broke thro - how is everyone - did anyone take my tip on ACA - now down 25% might be a good buy to hold till the Tan govt relents and allows PM ore to be exported again ??? I am battling on MYSQ at the mo - up 16% then down to 8% but still blue. The first good RNS came thro this AM and shot the SP upwards - still a good buy at less than 5P IMO More good RNS forecast soon. Eish - I think the elephant in the room for most shares today is the Moody downgrade of the whole of the Chinese economy - what power these boys have - I bet a few of Moody's pals were waiting in the wings to bayonet the wounded and buy shares cheap ! Mission control - I am entering the dark area again - useless LSE - I have been using HL site most of the day - they never seem to go down - perhaps HL has a mainframe computer that is not made of wood like LSE seems to be ! keep an eye on ACA today - the Tanzania govt is discussing the ban on export of PM ore - if it goes against ACA their SP will drop hard but if the ban is lifted the SP should rocket up. noggers - too right - we should all stick to our plans but we always think that things MUST get better when they rarely do ! noggers - only holding MYSQ at the mo - it is being massacred by short sellers this week because there is no latest RNS news that we were all expecting - so shorters having a field day ! However I am not selling out as the company fundamentals are excellent and when the RNS hits the SP will rocket like it did a week ago - up from 2P to 6.5P in a week. SP presently at 4.5P so not too far down - one good RNS will see this back up to about 8P IMO. This is my only game in town now and I cannot see another share with the legs to give 10% or more ! Eish - shorters can be as small as a single PI betting against a SP or as large as an international hedge fund. Warren Bufett and George Sorros frequently risk millions on shorting like when GS bet against sterling when we fell out of the ERM "snake" - GS boasted he made a billion pounds shorting sterling. Of course the nasty side is when hedge funds employ front companies to publish panic stories that bring down a company completely - I watched Quindell (QPP) attacked when its SP was 44p and MCAP £2.5 billion - I bought in at 22p then sold at 20p - the share ended up at 2p and about £150M MCAP - in Canada a professional market manipulator with 27 logins was finally caught and sent to prison.for crashing companies finances. We all ignore the BB rules which say you are NOT to ramp or deramp companies (make unsupported statements which will influence the SPs) Caveat Emptor - that is why it is best to jump in and out of shares (especially AIM shares) and not to try to "catch the falling knife" (like we all do !) my aim is not to get rich - just to have fun playing the market - it does help when I make £4.5K in a day but stings when I lose £2K or £3K I am presently down about £2K on MYSQ which is under heavy shorting attack but will hold and hope to outlast the shorters (my limit will be about another 10 days as it is a AIM listed share) Regards

Truly is it said "The good die young" - I always feel very sad when I see young men and women and children die in road accidents or by the hand of madmen ! Afternoon Eish - dog walk - painting garden furniture - cutting lawns today so no time to monitor SPs. I have been going into cash in the last few days as it seems the safest option till after 8 June - before the BREXIT vote I posted on BBs that it was too close to call but I thought BREXIT would win - now I say that after May's madness in attacking OAPs and sick people we may well end up with a Labour/SNP coalition running the country - overall Tory lead cut by 50% and Labour now ahead of the Tories in Wales - Ruth Davidson stabbed in the back by May so what new disasters will May spring before 8 June ? No wonder she would not take part in an open debate she is as wet as dishwater ! Regards

If Mrs May continues to blunder and provide weak leadership we might well see the next govt as a coalition of Labour and SNP. I think May has shot her bolt in winning marginal seats now ! No wonder HOC is rising steadily ! Regards

Strange how Mrs May dithered over important things like calling Article 50 - new runway at Heathrow - new nuclear power station etc - when she should have moved instantly. Now she has pre-empted a POST GE measure attacking OAPs and dementia sufferers which will cost her millions of votes if she does not cancel it out NOW. I just watched her dithering performance on BBC News - fending off 100% hostile questions from the media hacks and she was actually booed on some of her replies and drew gasps of disbelief on other replies. Her reply that care patients would NOT have to sell their homes to pay for care costs was hastily correct to "While they are still alive" Tim Farron says that 90% of OAP homes will have to be sold after death to pay costs - and who will pay the costs while OAPs are still alive - Councils cannot pay and Central Govt will not pay either - it is madness to bring this idiotic idea in pre GE. Corbyn says - May can find £20 billion to spend on nuclear submarines and missiles which we will never use but cannot find money to fix potholes in roads or pay for the NHS or Education or pay Uni fees for students - as Scotland does from its devolved budget. Rant over HOC doing well - must be the May factor !!!!

I think Mrs May has just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory - why on earth did she attack OAPs in her manifesto - 10 million OAPs will lose out if she wins the GE. Corbyn and even Farron are now looking good to the electorate with their promises to scrap the OAP moves and cancel Uni fees immediately on winning power ! This must be another Hammond gaffe - so just like before the BREXIT vote I will going 100% into cash - if Labour scrape home with a coalition govt the SM will crash. Tory lead in the polls just cut by 50% and the hard line from May that she will not re-consider her mean minded attack on OAPs will backfire on her on June 8 ! noggers - 285-290 !!! I think you are right to trade in and out - I made some very good profits doing that - next major high should be in August but ups and downs till then. I will be watching for the big drop 14 Dec to 21 Dec buying back in on 21 Dec and selling late Feb (if it runs again like 2016) Regards and GL next week

noggers - ties in with my buy and sell dates for 2016/2017. Highest SP 16 Aug at 326p and lowest SP 21 Dec at 189p. So if you kept an eye on buying early May and selling in early Aug then buying back in about 21 Dec then selling about 27 Feb you would have gained 40% each time over the 12 months. There were intermediate times when buying and selling would have gained between 10 and 17% ie buy 12 Sep and sell 26 Sep and buy 24 Nov and sell 14 Dec and buy 6 Mar and sell 16 Mar !!! If we get a repeat performance over the next 12 months we will be very well off !

Eish - just back from pruning trees and cutting lawns and doing the laundry while my wife is out at upholstery classes ! Lovely day here in Wiltshire and not a lot of movement on HOC or MYSQ - although M is trying to break out but being held by brokers - not complaining as it is up about 4% - if it holds ! I bought KAZ and sold KAZ for a 10% profit before it went down last 2 days. If it drops another 10% I may buy back in cos I think it has about 30% headroom at about 430p - IMO only - anything can (and does) happen in this casino ! noggers - when you plant the plants - put them in the main flower beds and you may find another James the First solid gold pound coin - like the guys on the building site - in perfect condition and very rare - will sell for possibly a million quid ! If I found one of those I would split the cash with my daughter and charities like Dogs Trust ! Regards

Eish - only MYSQ is blue on mine - LOL All the FTSE averages are in the red today in a big way so HOC is battling the head winds well at the mo. I no longer regret selling all my KAZ shares as the SP is swooping down this week ! There is no safe place to hide except in cash at the mo ! But I still need my 5.5p on MYSQ and will hold until I get there ! Regards

eish - I will watch from the sidelines as things change and re-invest if and when the rise sets in. I did say that I expected a drop in Stock Markets as I think they have gone too high and the US and Jap SM are well down yesterday and today. We will see whether the FTSE falls today as well. I may have to wait a while on my only wild investment to get my money back ! Regards

US and Jap SMs well down today because of Trumpton problems - honeymoon is over for Trump and he is now seen as a "lame duck" president who may have to step down and hand over to his vice president. No doubt the FTSE will drop today also ! Regards

Looking at the 30 year graphs for Ag and Au the peak prices were in 2012 at $US 50 and $US 1900 so I would be very surprised to see those prices exceeded this year or next ! But like the Chinaman I have been Wong before Regards all
