All the shares on my watch list have been marked down - as usual - by the brokers in order to make their profits for the day. Just ignore the shenanigans till at least 11 AM when the market should stabilise.

Eish - blood bath today - most companies heads rolling in the dust. The pundits are forecasting big SM slumps starting later this year as QE ends world wide so I am keeping one eye on the exit on a daily basis - back in 100% cash by the end year, Interesting how many big companies have SPs 20% to 75% down since last September ! The optimist says the only way now is UP ! I bought a load of KAZ shares recently when they crashed 55% to 450p - presently at 488p with lots of room to climb back a bit, the shares were about £15 a few years ago ! I will sell KAZ when it hits £7 again !!!!

Ref UKOG - I was tempted to buy again recently when the SP dipped below 1p but had no confidence in the BOD so I stayed out ! SP now about 2.3p - but very risky IMO to put big bucks into UKOG at the mo

Hopefully the KAZ SP will continue upwards over the next few weeks - yesterday was an excellent start and if Canada and the US can settle their trade differences today world SMs should all go up. I have not sold any KAZ shares !

Tony - last September I put £20k in UKOG at under 2p and sold at 8p - so not a loony then - although I have never been back in UKOG because of the BOD antics - I predicted a mega crash on the SP ! Most of the profits went to my daughter who had ovarian cancer and to animal charities.

Just need to be in the right place at the right time - that is why I bought into KAZ when it started to go up from 450p

Firwood - TY - absolute magic - at school I sang as the lead singer in a boy band ! I was lucky that I was a speed reader and had a photographic memory so I have thousands of songs memorised - the 60s were the greatest IMO.

spotopp - strangely enough - the POTUS can pardon himself for all crimes short of Treason Murder or similar "heinous" crimes. As Trump says he has done nothing wrong (the cry of all crooked politicians) he will have a clear conscience saying "Me Absolvo" LOL

opulentia - I quite agree with your post - however - the BOD is silent despite the SP crashing down 55% recently - perhaps if the BOD were to issue a reassuring RNS the market would recover from its fright and push the SP Back up to £8 very quickly

When all the II and PI who have decided to sell KAZ shares have left there will be a big rush to buy KAZ at the present high value low SP

@hash - IMO you are spot on with your comments - KAZ BOD has taken a reckless decision to effectively build a new town in the Russian wastelands and the market reaction is to drop the SP by more than 50%. KAZ is now wide open to a takeover if it does not immediately cancel the Russian project - it is too tempting to a big investor to takeover KAZ and get rid of the present BOD then issue a RNS cancelling the Russian project - the SP would immediately jump upwards back to £10 or more as the company is in a very strong position without the Russian folly

Good morning Eish - I am off today to visit my daughter for a few days but will expect to see an ongoing rise in HOC when I return ! This is the only share I am in at the mo - all the "experts" are forecasting a mega SM crash starting in October due to withdrawal of financial support by world banks - QE will be finished by Jan 2019. - bodes well for POG and POS IMO
