HFX no problems in buying - but I did have to buy in £3K and £2K steps

spike - I do not usually trust NT but I have found today that NT gives a very fair price. If you wait for auto trade you may not get back in at a good price

comeonvog - yes HOC is in big trouble with the continuing incredibly low Ag price - but this is offset by the Inmaculada mine making great profits from increasing gold sales. I can see Arcata being shut down if the low Ag prices continue - amazing that only last year the "experts" were predicting Au and Ag prices rocketing this year !! I think HOC has hit rock bottom on its SP but next year should rise again. I also think that I read in the HOC publications that they do not hedge the prices of their produce.

Who knows where Trump mania will take world markets next ? And BREXIT is also weighing heavy on the FTSE.

I am all in cash again now and will stay there till 2019 - unless I see a good opportunity to day trade - a vast number of company SPs are down from 15% to 90% from where they were in the last 12 months - banks are busted miners are being smashed up and there seems to be no safe share to invest in at the mo - the little robots controlling the market are making profits hand over fist - LOL Interesting to note that APPLE is now the world`s most shorted stock - must be a crash coming for the trillion dollar master of the tech universe !

We are in a repeat of the 2008 crisis IMO but banks et al now have more cash reserves and easy liquidated stock to slow down the market slide. But Trump is a menace to world peace with his government by tweet - the dark force in his armchair !

Another red day across the indices world wide - Trump is a menace ! Every major share I look at is down on SP by 20% to 30% from September 2017 onwards - I have made some modest gains this year by investing in the "dead cat bounces" but at the mo all the SPs of the companies on my watchlist are pretty dead in the water and very risky to day trade. I think the world markets will go down a lot more in the next 6 months so I will be all in cash by end September.

I have just bought 37609 shares in FOOT having researched the fundamentals of the company I believe that the SP crash is well overdone. Other investors will also be looking to buy in at these low SPs so I am confident that the SP will rise over the next few months

Pokerchips - I agree completely - when it comes to Trump versus the entire world he must lose - sooner or later.

I was thinking about the crash in Ag price and wondering whether the Ag market is under attack again from market manipulators who are trying once again to monopolise the AG world stocks - the last time this was tried they managed to pull the POS down low but eventually they were caught out - hopefully the POS will soon rise and boost the HOC SP
