Jamie - what makes you think that the AIM market is crazy ? Just because we often see one trade send a SP up 30% and some companies have a spread of 50% - seems OK to me - LOL

Tomorrow we will get the result of our useless Prime Minister's plan to sell us into EU slavery with a bonus of 45 billion euros to be paid to the Fourth Reich. All sensible people think that our scurrilous MPs would not stoop so low as to sell out the UK just to keep their well paid sinecure jobs - 100 ministers appointed by May out of only 315 Tory MPs. I think the MMs have priced in a veto on May's plan - but what comes next. The only sensible plot would be to cancel Article 50 pending a General Election or new Referendum under a new PM and govt. But who knows ? If the Commons descend once more into drunken brawls or indulge in football matches to idle away the time to endex in March the markets will react badly. 2 days from now will set the pattern IMO Keep some emergency cash in the bank is my advice

From memory I think the SP jumped about 20% on news of big oil at Zama pre Xmas ! A well worded RNS to be published soon may well take us back up where we belong. Note that BP has recently announced another mega find off Mexico thanks to excelled 3D results. Well worth waiting for from this SP level. I still see a glass ceiling at about 80p unless we get that mega RNS which is a very safe bet considering the fact that we KNOW Zama has mega oil - it is just a question of how much and how soon we can produce and sell it - although PMO has done well out of forward sales of oil and gas and high hedging SPs

The BOD has fallen into the RBS trap of 2007/8 when RBS expanded recklessly to become the biggest bank in the world - at the cost of unsupportable debt. Govt bailout of £45 billion to stave off bankruptcy was needed and the SP dropped from 400p + to 10p in Jan 2009. RBS has never fully recovered and the taxpayer has lost £23 billion of the bailout to date If our BOD wish to proceed with N Sea buying they must first sell the expensive white elephant of Sea Lion. Tolmount gas and Zama oil is the future for PMO but reckless borrowing now (if they can get it) or a RI or CFE deal will scupper the SP big time.

Although I voted leave I see now that the govt kicking any decision down the road for the last 2 years has left us with no time for either a new Referendum - a General Election or a revamped Mayday plan. The only pragmatic course of action now is for MPs to vote to cancel Article 50 WIE - with a promise to BREXITEERS that we can resurrect Article 50 next year when we see whether the EU and the Eurozone can survive 2019. This will leave us in the EU pro tem with no 45 billion euro ransom to pay and no loss of EU benefits. We will also vote in 73 MEPs in the month of May elections and they can be a fifth column to bring down the rotten corrupt EU structure. We will also be back in Galileo and get our turn as president of the EU. The EU legal beagles have said we can cancel Article 50 and stay on our present terms and do not need the agreement of the other 27 member states. At a stroke we would appease both Remain and Leave voters and the SM SPs would rise sharply.

Do I think our headless chicken MPs will follow this plan ? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

KRSS - world SM are in turmoil due to idiot Trump waging a trade war against friends and foes alike - austerity is not the elephant in the economic room - Trump is. Of interest is that the exchange rate £ to euro has dropped from 1.50 the day before the BREXIT vote to about 1.10 now - so effectively all imports priced in euros have become 27% more expensive - a virtual import tariff already in place. Major damage is being done by Mrs May and her glove puppet cabinet ministers with their Project Fear attacks on the UK economy - the financiers and company bosses do not like confusion and uncertainty and dithering leadership from the PM so they are voting with their feet until such time as we get rid of May and get a new government in place - even if it is Comrade Corbyn and his communist mates. Mrs May lies constantly to us - she says that her govt is low taxation - in fact we have the highest total rate of tax since WW2. Also the Tories have doubled the National Debt from 900 billion to 1800 billion since they have been in power. Is austerity consistent with spending £10 billion on useless aircraft carriers and £60 billion on a useless HS2 and giving £14 billion each year in overseas aid to the 10 most corrupt countries in the world while in the UK we have 14 million people living at or below the poverty level. Truly this country is a mad house now run by the inmates ! As for Democracy - I voted UKIP with 4 million other voters and got only one MP but 1.5 million SNP voters got 56 MPs - our political system is one of the most corrupt in the world.

Hopefully we will get a RNS or two next week to clear up the confusion caused by MA's "hand grenade - last week" A RI would raise peanuts at the present level of SP and an equity swap likewise - the BOD has said that it has no immediate cash-flow problems so it would make sense for the SP to return to the 5p or 6p level early next week - this could be driven my lots of buys - although my buy of 287335 shares last week showed up as a sell - I am not sure whether this misreporting of buys and sells is a deliberate ploy of the brokers or just a timing error - but it is happening all the time in the SM and does easily manipulate the SP up or down as the brokers wish

I will be watching at 0800 hrs tomorrow for early signs of up or down - usually company SPs are initially marked up then down then up again - especially on Mondays - time will tell

This is my first time investing in DEB although I have been investing in the market for over 50 years ! I now own £15K of DEB shares at 4p - like all other holders I would like to see a big bounce back to at least 6p in the near future. The elephants in the room are - 1- Is DEB going out of business 2 - Has the SP hit rock bottom at about 4p 3 - Will there be a takeover offer in the next few months 4 - What can we expect as a TO SP if it happens

IMO only - DEB will stay in business for at least another year - . I think the SP has hit rock bottom at about 4p - If there is a TO offer then it should be - in May 24p a share or July 15p a share - clearly the longer delay in TO offer will see the offer SP dropping down to 12p or 10p. So the sooner we get that offer the better - but if MA makes the offer he will wait till the 12 month highest SP has dropped down to 12p or even 10p.

Just my thoughts for today - an opening SP above 5p next Monday would be great news but we may have to wait until the AGM dust settles before a sensible rise comes.

International news gives the cost of the 2013 16 day shutdown as $20 billion and the expected cost now as $1.5 billion each week. Unpaid wages will have to be repaid after shutdown plus all extra costs incurred by not being paid plus contractors costs

jamesroo - I agree with all your comments - I voted leave but I am also pragmatic and now believe that the only sensible course of action as we are out of time for any other pro tem is for MPs to vote to cancel Article 50 rather than delay and drag out the agony and put us at the mercy of the unelected political dictators in Brussels. The Remain voters would be delighted - the Leave voters could be promised a second Article 50 declaration at a later date - the EU would not get £39 billion ransom - we would stay in the EU with our turn at the Presidency and our hostile MEPs attacking the Eurocrats. many experts believe that the EU and Euroland will collapse in 2019 which would free all the European nations from what is in effect the German Fourth Reich

considering that each week of shutdown costs the US taxpayers $1.5 billion - we are now into the 4th week so Trumpington's demand for $5 billion for the wall has now cost $6 billion ! Now that the Democrats control the Lower House Trumpington's days as a dictator are over. Until our useless PM Traitor May and her glove puppet cabinet get off their well paid backsides and do something positive on BREXIT - NOT her deal ! - company shares will continue to take a hammering. Best to be in cash till April then buy back in on any recovery in company shares.
