Is this the same Goldman Sachs that now admits to collusion in the world's most massive fraud and theft from the Malaysian people - billions of dollars stolen and GS simply offers "an apology" to the Malaysian people. GS is facing major fraud charges with billions of dollars being claimed back by the new Malaysian govt.

Great company ! As bad as the German car makers fiddling their car emission data and poisoning world wide populations !

SP glass ceiling at about 80p still in place but once we get that excellent Zama RNS the SP will rocket back up like it did in the past by 15% or 20% IMO. Strange that the SP drop on rumour was not rescinded by the BOD RNS denying the rumours - but then that is the way the market mafia make their profits !

Ironic - I agree completely with your excellent advice. I have been gambling on the SM for 50 years and have had some spectacular gains but also spectacular losses - you never know when a RNS will hit which drops SPs 20% or more. Vince Cable in 2009 said "The stock market is no longer a safe place for honest investors to put their money - it is a sleazy casino run by dodgy characters whose only aim is to part honest investors from their life savings !" And John Paul Getty Senior said "I made my millions on the stock market by not giving a sucker an even break - and there is another sucker born every minute !" Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware)

SM distracted today by the HP antics and BREXIT chaos. Whatever they decide the country is sick to death of BREXIT and all the chaos threats bullying and lies being told. If our useless PM thinks we will tolerate another 2 or 4 years of this rubbish she must to loco !

The SP is holding up at the mo but the icing on the cake would be a very good RNS on Zama assets at 1430 hrs when the Yankee SM opens

Provided we do not get another adverse RNS today the SP should continue to climb back up to a more decent level this PM

Quiet day today till the glove puppet MPs get their vote out of the way - Mrs May already saying that she will go for another vote - anything to stay in power !

Provided we do not get another kicking from Sacks of Gold today we should see a good rise in the SP - perhaps a Zama RNS - the BOD usually publishes good news in trading hours so as not to gift the brokers an advantage on SP rises.

We were recovering quite nicely till 1500 hrs when that nasty Sacks of Gold RNS hit us - combined with a last minute SM panic about China SM collapsing and BREXIT chaos - Wednesday for a recovery IMO

Sacks of Gold has taken out billion dollar bets that the UK will not leave the EU - as has JP Morgan so they are working like mad to scupper BREXIT. They both lost billions betting that Remain would win the 2016 Referendum so they are annoyed at the UK for daring to try to leave the EU prison

Auson - if they can bid one penny a share for FLYBE I am sure that our bid would look generous for CHEVRON - LOL

I think that our CEO and the BOD deserve a vote of thanks for steering PMO through very troubled times over the last 2 years - Catcher is an amazing success story and still ongoing - Tolmount is set to bring in excellent levels of revenue in 2021 and onwards - Zama is an incredibly good acquisition by the BOD and the hedging of 38% of H1 production at $69 and 35% of H2 production at $71 is very sound financing. The big white elephant in the room is Sea Lion - I note that the FID (Financial Investment Decision) has been kicked down the road to a TBN date - hopefully the BOD can find a big oily who will take it off our hands - a billion dollars for Sea Lion would take down our debt pile very nicely. But if the BOD sits on its hands now and only develops Tolmount and Zama we will still be in a very strong position in the market place.

I am happy to hold PMO shares at this SP but will still day trade on days like today to hedge my own bets !

I may be confused - at age 73 I am entitled to be confused - but years ago I bought into PMO and was impressed by the CEO saying he did not believe in Rights Issues - so if the BOD need to raise cash or credit they are likely to do this in partnership deals - like Catcher and Tolmount and Zama - and not dilute our SP by a RI - as the Chinaman said "I may be Wong but my decisions are usually OK"

DOOOH - I recently bought TED shares because I had been watching them for a while and expecting a rise - I was late buying and the SP was at 12% UP when I bought in - the SP then dropped to 10% UP so I sold to get out of the "falling knife" TED finished the day 31% UP - "Stupid boy Pike" - waited all that time for the bounce then sold out too soon !!!

So not all punters buy low and sell high !
