If the BOD had sold 100 million shares in its Rights Issue at 350p they would have all sold and given the BOD enough cash to pay off all its debt !!!

I think the BOD and wives pre-agreed to take the shares - so they have just honoured their promise.

I was going to stay out of KIE but could not resist a punt at 360p Fingers crossed for a recovery

Auson - I think they borrow our shares and sell high then buy back low then return the shares with a small profit to the broker

stay in cash till April - May's disastrous leadership will see us end up with the worst of all BREXIT results and shares in UK companies will be back at the 2009 levels

some big news and big decisions due soon - ZAMA oil ??? Tolmount progress and Sea Lion FID Zama oil would give us a nice boost - more progress news on Tolmount would be good - I think a positive FID on Sea Lion would be commercial suicide for PMO. Best to sell off Sea Lion if the BOD can and also Solan - which is close to the new Clair oil field so BP might take it off our hands and allow a big debt paydown. At the present POO I think the end year Trading Update may be bad news for the SP

If the BOD had done their sums right in the first place they would have pitched the shares at 350p right from the start - investors would have bought in at that price and today's shambles would have been avoided - in my working life I was a trained accountant - so I was a bit surprised by the 409 Rights price - I did say some time back - "Why would anyone buy at 409 when the present SP is 388 !

Auson - to borrow - not to buy - the way the SP is being driven up and down smacks of market manipulation

could be that the big boys are driving the SP hard down so they can reduce their 409p per share to more like 375p or 380p average.

I do not think the big boys will sell shares at a loss - they hold many millions of shares long term and when they look at the max 12 month SP about 1200p and they have shares at 409p it makes sense for them to hold the shares till 2019 and sell at a big profit.

Well done to all who held onto their shares today - a good argument for not setting stop losses !

My hope too - all the big boys holding 60% of the Rights shares will want the SP back up to at least 409p to allow them to offload the shares. MMs will be under pressure from the big boys to mark up the SP - possibly temporarily - to allow them an exit.

I had resolved to stay in cash until I saw today's results but yesterday I bought in at 393p thinking it could go no lower ! Just shows that you should stick to Plan A - no choice now but to hold for better times

I said a while back that a fair KIE SP once the dust settles is about 600p - this would still only be about 50% of the max SP recently.

I bought in at about 410p and bought more today at 393p so I hope I am right about the rising SP !

I get the feeling of Deja Vu - back at the end of 2008 I was all in cash and expecting a mega market crash in January 2009. The LLOYDS "experts" told me I was misinformed and they were taking out loans to buy LLOY shares at 125p - I told them to wait till mid January and they could buy LLOY at about 40p but best buy would be BARC at about 50p. The BARC shares went from 50p to 250p in 12 months and I did well out of them ! The same scenario has formed now so Spring 2019 should be a good time to buy shares - after the BREXIT plague has burned itself out !

Looking back - POO was just $3 from 1945 to 1965 then 1975 $11 then 1985 $28 1995 $18 2005 $58 2015 $100 now about $58 - simple trading system - if you get too greedy and charge too much for your oil the world will find other cheaper sources of energy to use. $60 seems to be a fair price !

2. Tell Saudi "I aim to destroy your enemy Iran and will shut off their oil exports but I need you to pump up your output by at least 1 million BOPD to cover the loss of Iran oil"
3. Saudi pumps up production - oil storage all over the world awash with oil.
4. Trump says "oil too expensive" and leaves back door open for Iran to export to big Asian users.
5 Oil price collapses - job done.

However US suffers as much as rest of world - DOOOOOOOO !
