Firstly you don't know if the trade was a sell or a buy, secondly Mitsu hold 20% so this isn't a big trade for them

The average life cycle for a car model is 6 years.

SM have gone into SoP with the top 3 in the last 12 months or so, so they have 5 years at least based on current announced wins.

The CEO knows what he is doing and will have a far better understanding of the market dynamics than anyone on here.

In terms of the 5 things mentioned .

1. They have been very clear on cashflow breakeven by Dev 2025, ie within the next 3 months. For a company that is currently in a cashburn position thats a better metric than profit

2. They publish KPIs for auto and Fleet. The level of transparency is appropriate imo as you dont want to give pricing detail into the open market.

3. They had a CMD in April and had a senior rep from Euro NCAP

4. They have said they expect more II buying once breakeven achieved.

5. They have stated this

Gummo, thats incorrect.

SEYE announced it for their fleet offering, AIS, but SM have announced for OEM passenger vehicles.

Also SM have stated they can detect from 0.05%, i don't believe SEYE have proved such data

Well done to the team at SM, once again they have surprised us. I remember the founder Tim Edwards talking about drunk driver detection at the London CMD in 2019, its the holy grail of DMS and the industry will understand that, before the stock market does.

They have said

- 6k Gen3 by qtr ending Dec 25.

- 2m cars by qtr ending June 2026.

They dont control the ramp up on auto but have stated they need 700-750k for breakeven, which they have targeted for Dec 2026.

Seize, the "customers" of SM are other OEMs and Tier Ones, I am sure they include their successes in the "quality" submission for an RFQ.

Investors will see the progress via the KPIs and financial accounts

A few points

1) an order in this industry is a "design win" which is approx 3 years before production.

2) The cost for SM is getting the design win to production and also this is the risk for DMS suppliers. It's a sunk cost if you don't get to production.

3) SM are recognising the revenue after the risk period and after their costs are incurred, ie at SoP (start of production).

4) Any revenue received for upfront payments (at Sop) or monthly for every car through the production line is 100% margin. The cost for SM was incurred and paid for at point 2 above.

I agree with Baxter, I will lost likely be proved correct soon.
