Yes it is a complete mystery that the RCF has not been signed off , six months after the directors said it was all done apart from paying the legal fees, (for which they did a placing). I cannot believe the world of finance relies on cosy fireside chats anymore, so something has changed. The "leading UK asset manager" has clearly got other priorities. Perhaps they want a different deal post COVID?

Whatever, for me, there is no momentum until this RCF is in place, and waffling about "difficulties" is no help. If deal making is the bread and butter of these high flying managers, they need to get on with it and be inventive in short order and do a deal.

The £10k trade at 13.02 knocked the bottom out of both the bid and ask. The larger trades at 15.49 were reported late to try and maintain an orderly market.

The share mid price has fallen by 16% today which suggest a large holder has reduced their position. I recall Ophidian telling us that the market makers had a (possibly naked) short position of circa 1 million shares which had to be closed out at some point. So perhaps the market makers were willing to absorb these sells to balance their books, rather than it being someone accumulating.

I would not be surprised to see a TR1 showing someone reducing their position if the absence of anything concrete coming from the company.

HB, that might be a good idea to get some fresh air in your mind, but I cannot see anyone making a journey from California to the UK right now if they have any common sense, and we expect directors to have that.

I believe the RCF "warehouse vertical " company is an Irish company with a registered office in Dublin, so both parties could legitimately go to a Dublin lawyer office to meet for this required socially distanced signing "physical meeting"and go back home again without quarantine, surely?

At the corporate update in April, the company reported there was no institutional appetite for the "hybrid product" so they are not marketing it anymore. As far as I can make out, the only investment service they have reported to the SEC is BOAGF , so that is the only one they can be marketing in USA surely? Sure, BOAGF can offer bundled SLS policies ( the equity portion) or zero coupon bonds (the debt portion) but there is no "hybrid product" anymore, so one cannot assign an additional income forecast to it, beyond BOAGF.
Any view on that?

Just a minute here. If life expectancy in seniors is curtailed by COVID-19 , why would they sell their life insurance for a fraction of value ? No remaining life to enjoy with that cash, so let the policy run and leave the insurance payout to children who may be in dire straights and need the money.

That looks like dividend cancellation to me, not just suspending payment of them to end 2020.

The issue is that this platform is moderated and TG is not. BS can be called out here but not there. It is etiquette to attribute research to the researcher rather than put it up as "look what I found"

If you are going to copy and paste from here to TG , Giles' transcription of the podcast, you might have had the grace to attribute it to him.
That is the problem with TG and Twitter groups, out of public sight, rampers only, no rational debate, no scrutiny.

Year end is 31 August, so interims are for 6 months to end Feb, so reported within 3 months must be 29th May. Last trading day of May.

With quarantine on incomers from USA, you might be waiting some time. None of these guys have a UK residence; so if they turn up, they will be sent to "government accommodation" for 2 weeks. i.e a military camp.
They will not set foot in London until all this blows over. You can take that to the bank.
