If the BOAGF fund was up and running with warehouse SPV finance available, you would be 100% correct, but it isn't.

Right now ALGW is a cash shell minnow , and I don't think the market will treat that as non correlated. I am bothered that it has taken too long and GS may be a day late and a dollar short. I am sure there will be other LS funds in US who are eating our lunch.

This is looking more like WW3 than 2008. Everything is going to the wall and there is public panic afoot. Economies will completely stop for several months. It is a big correction, but the collateral damage will be immense.

I cannot see any stock swiming against the tide, and the tide won't turn for six months if the epidemiogy forecasts are right.

It is not a good time for equity, however good the underlying business might be, because there will be a flight into cash. When the recovery comes, it will come slowly and there will be plenty of time to build a portfolio of stocks again.

It is crazy, but it is what it is.

I don't know why they bother. The real LSE, the London Stock Exchange makes no attempt to categorise trades as buys or sells, and that is where the data feed comes from. The spread that LSE displays is not the same as some market makers are offering, and is nowhere near the spread on the NEX exchange.

There used to be a warning in the small print here to say the buy/sell indication was arbitrary and not to be relied upon.

This algorithm that LSE uses merely compares a trade price with the mid price of the spread and in a volatile market the mid price can drop before the trade gets reported, so a sell pops up as as buy, and vice versa. It is completely unreliable for making any view of market direction.
