Not because I lost faith, I sold half a couple of weeks ago thinking there will be no news and I had time to try and get a win elsewhere and buy more back.
If FCA throw toys out NOBODY wins FCA works with them EVERYONE gets something and yes I'll be controversial, including those greedy share holders everyone loves to hate

You say why should the FCA allow companies not to pay customers what they owe. Sorry if that's not word for word, I know you like precision
So answer me this- Allowing Amigo to go under means customers will get nothing
We've already debated the scheme and we both agree more money should and has been committed and I still think there's more if needed .
Shouldn't the FCA work with Amigo to ensure the best outcome for customers AND Amigo ? An Amigo lending to clear guidelines will only help FCA and future customers in this current climate

I believe they are a great board and I don't think this is actually their last throw of the dice if not approved

If I lose what I have it will sting but if they turn it around it will put a huge smile on my face and i'll me mortgage free so worth the punt for me. Can't advise you buddy but that's how I see it

MoneyShop was but they offered 80p in the £ but that ended up at 5p in the £

The issue I see is the amount needed is unknown so if they tried to dilute, who would buy ?
what would we need 1billion shares at 5p is what 200,000,000 I think, and would that be enough ?

Can you see FCA approving before assessing Woodard report ? I'm not so sure
But I suppose if it's focus is on lending it doesn't really effect the soa

You really think IF they get through the SOA and lets say q1 2022 show a great profit, the fact 15% of that profit is being paid to SOA will really reduce SP? I don't think so and s for dividends! If they get through you won't need dividends for the first few years while you watch your money grow
Div's will stabilise SP when needed if we get there

We called the % profit at 5% wasn't enough and they've upped it
I personally think this their opening shot and if it gets passed they are laughing, if not they still have movement to show willing
Could be a long hard road but still think they'll come out the other side

This share is and has been a gamble (yes I'm using gamble which some here hate) for some time.
Yes we have our opinion of what should happen but no one knows and I doubt even FCA/GJ know at this time.
Will the vote be positive or negative ?
Will Amigo need to offer more ?
Will the judge pass it?
Will Amigo go bust ?
Or will Gary make it number 4 ?
Be prepared to lose what you have
Be prepared to make huge gains from where we are

I think you could be right.A compromise or arrangement between a company and its members or creditors (or any class of them) under Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006. A scheme of arrangement can be used to effect a solvent reorganisation of a company or group structure, including by merger or demerger, as well as to effect insolvent restructurings such as by a debt for equity swap or by a wide variety of other debt-reduction strategies.
A scheme requires approval by at least 75% in value of each class of the members or creditors who vote on the scheme, being also at least a majority in number of each class. If the scheme includes a reduction in the company's share capital, a separate special resolution of the company's members (requiring a 75% majority of those voting) is also necessary.
The court's permission is needed to convene the meetings of members and creditors to vote on the scheme and at this point the court will review whether any division of the members and creditors into classes for voting purposes is appropriate.

Like I say, I don't know for sure they would - But wouldn't the judges role to be there to do what is fair to as many as possible ?
Would supporting those spitting their dummies out becuase no one told them paying it back would be hard be fair to all those in need of help today. And what about the 000's Amigo have helped over the years ?
