Not good. Big fall. 16% all according to the board due to the ukraine Russia war. The rest of the figures look good. IE profits up.
Personally I think the company can't list companies on a stock exchange. Previous listing suggest that. Instead I think sales like the water companies sale.
Appreciate other peoples views on the accounts.

And no purchase tax?

Scrip issue also involves no tax on dividends as you don't get any.
In reference to them being based on exdivided price, that maybe correct for some companies but not all. Sequoia is based on an average over period of ..... can't remember.
Also scrip doesn't appear possible if you own them in Broker account. At least not with Hargreaves Lansdowne
I think you would have to ask for paper certificate to take part in scrip issue at least with Hargreaves Lansdowne.

I am not sure what the catalyst is for this rerating. Other than the obvious it was undervalued in the first place. With this years price hedged it will be next year to see the benefits of higher prices.
There is also the possibility that some share price increase maybe to do with the US listing? Did someone say Jun this year?

The price dividend are reinvested is when your broker reinvest them. Brokers have a set period in which all dividends are reinvested. If I recall correctly its a two week period. So if the dividend is paid into your account before that two week period then it is invested during it. They cannot reinvest all the dividends of any one company on one day. So it's the look of draw what price you get.
They cannot invest on exdivided date because you/they haven't received the money.

Decent dividend but no chance of NAV and hence share price growth. Its peak prior to the crash was 118 on a considerable premium to NAV. These shares came to market at 100p more than 5 years ago and have gone no where. NAV are the money owed nothing more. Furthermore it is looking like they are going to have a couple of defaults. Bulb is dead buried

No, it appears it is not a good day to buy.
Inflation, the rotation into value and it is down right cheap.
It might even be on its way up at least relative to the rest of the market.

And that's exactly what I have had.
A 26% share price growth since selling mut which is down on my selling price.
And importantly the dividend increases are far superior to mut who now have to rebuild there dividend reserve. NAIT has not used any of its reserve.

Annnnd another 2.5%!

I can't see any information on SCIN dividend reserve?
Anyone know if they are taking it with them?. Perpetual income and growth received all the dividend reserve before the merger...10 months worth.
According to AIC SCIN has 2.71 years reserve.

Until they announce the actual dividend or till there is a takeover offer.

Is the seller hedging?

Why? You have every right to be there. I would be surprised if there wasn't a large number of small share holders there.

In essence I have reinvested, sort of, as I have 4% more shares. But because I am greedy I wanted more!!

No dividend but have 4% more shares, so future income better.
Also take more out of my sipp without paying tax this year. .
I will try this on next year with Murray International. The dividend last quarter was 19p. Peak share price day before ex dividend was 40p above trade low on exdivided day.
