The bod failures are that they got complacent. Whilst big power is great it was always one customer. While cash was rolling in they were to busy drilling rather than trying to on board other customers so that all the eggs weren't in one basket. With over half the revenue down to one customer this was always a major risk which they should have been mitigating against with extended pipelines reaching more customers. Spending millions drilling on the hope that they might want more with no actual long term contracts in place was plain stupid imo

given the market shifts in the last 24 hours.. Expecting this to rise in coming month or two..

a year or so ago the price was around 32p . From recollection the business had about the same or maybe a few less customers. On that basis the market price was roughly where it is now. The big power contracts were always the cash cow and I got out back then as i was always worried what would happen if we lost these contracts. I subsequently lost out on the rise to 60-70p back then. Question is do the market still value at 33-34p with current customer base and if they can sort another deal will it rise back to 60p etc. The cam gov owe a lot of money everywhere and the real question is what priority they put on the deal they had with ENEO and what pain will they feel now the gas has stopped. If I could get a gauge on this I would buy back in but its very difficult to tell.. If the Cam gov feel they can stomach the power supply problems this situation could run for a year or so and without customers queuing up this could float at these prices for some time... crystal ball time

does go through I'd hope the savings in interest payments will be used to reduce the remaining debt. If in five years the remaining debt was reduced significantly and the co growth has increased inline with expectations this could be a good turn around but it could take a number of years imo. I may have misunderstood but the RNS suggests a 30m captial raising if the deal does go through, so more dilution to follow, which seems strange if there will be immediate savings on previous interest payments

Live SP showing me 2.5 yet they will still buy my shares at 2.66. Something very strange going on here..Normally bid would be far lower than SP.. Either trying to fill a large order or this is still set to go north some more

that 2.11 10k was actually my sell. Have to watch how these things get reported. Don't know how these are recorded and reported but always feels a little misleading to me.

the spread is shocking.. I can only assume the low volume of trades dictates this, but still.

I follow them on twitter. Its good to see the activity they are involved in. Sometimes is it can seem a bit quiet when looking here but following them gives you a real feel of the buzz they are generating. All good for the future IMO

I ducked in and out this morning. So no harm done. Its a shame as there is clearly a demand for the business but it seems to be on a tight rope with that amount of debt.

In an earlier post you mention annual interest payments of $70m a year which for me was alarming. Was that a typo that should have been 7m. I am fairly new to AVN so wont have all the detail and certainly having gone through every RNS. Are you saying the new 100m facility and payment of 50m to the previous facility is not the total debt they are servicing ?

ago I owned Marconi shares.. (that's where I should have stopped) and when was all said and done I got a check £2 or something like that out of a 5k holding. I suspect that any thing left (if at all) will follow the same scenario. Such a shame. This seemed so positive..

talking about someone else's personal finances and situation is inappropriate on a public forum regardless of the anonymity of their nickname. Its one thing someone offering up their own personal circumstances but talking about someone else is not good imo... It's not nice when the chips turn and the boards end up like this but money (especially losing it) always creates bad vibes

Agree, I can't see suspension being lifted. Once the numbers finalise and I assume there is no money left after everyone is paid out, I think this will just delist and disappear IMO.

It again, I think there is between 12 and 15 million to come back but to be honest that will be swallowed up by costs and we won't see a penny I should think. I can't see the funders wanting to fund another 5 years of court battles so personally I think this is dead in the water now...

That's the end of that. I hope no one was all in on this. At least we have our freedom.
