Typically with Aim companies you get a bit of good news and the SP flies then you normally get a spate of bad news and the SP tanks. We have seemingly only good news and the SP does nothing. My worry is how we weather any bad news. Hopefully this won't come before the SP has done some rising.

Finn crap have been given the remit to buy at the best price possible so rather than put the orders out there in the open market they seem to be waiting for those opportunities to buy chunks from people willing to sell. I thought the whole idea of the stock market was supply and demand. A buyer wants to buy shares (albeit the company) and there aren't any shares available so you either reduce the price to spook people into selling or raise the price to get people selling. Neither is happening in this case.. v.frustrating and honestly the only aim company ive been in that actually has achieved sales and has potential and the sp doesn't move.. not sure what else your supposed to do..

Certainly getting a little painful here. I've been in many AIM companies that have chopped about with huge rises and falls and none have ever had the solid income and prospects of this one. Yet so far nothing in the SP provides confidence this will reach its true value. Buy out seems the only real chance of getting a decent return here now so here's hoping...

Sb.. I’m probably missing something. In the share trade list it shows the 32m sell at 8.09 then the buy at 8.18 for the whole 32m. Then 3 separate trades appear at 8.19. The fact that the 3 trades total the 32m does suggest the same trade but there is definitely an additional trade showing that seems to be a buy given the price. Perhaps just an error in the list unless I’m missing something obvious .

SjLs 32m is accounted for but it seems there was approx another 30m bought assuming 5.75 was the buy price. What is not clear is where that 30m came from and who bought them. Guess is, that fincapp made a number of calls to existing holders to fill the orders. If the buyback is all done at 5.75 it does make you wonder if this is such a bargain price why those presumably in the know could bring themselves to sell at such lows..

What is the intention for the institution. Obviously they are out to make money but in what way. They now hold a shed load of shares at 5.75. They know they can’t sell 32m shares in current market volumes just like that at 6.5p to make 10 or 25% so the only real options as bakky says is they are playing for a buy out. I guess the qs remains at what price. With an average of 5.75, 7 or 8p might be a perfectly acceptable return for them. All we can hope is that this exposure will see other institutions seeing the value and trying to get in on the act and we see the price push up. But with deals to be had with existing larger holders maybe not.

Interesting their buy limit was 5.75. One would assume their due diligence made this a bottom valuation. Qs will be what do they see the future value as. If they only see 30 or 40% up from their 5.75 that is not v.good for us. If it’s 100% then that’ll do me to get out.

Looks like a number of big trades went through. You can see SJLs sell picked up but there was a couple more million after that. Perhaps the insti wanted more and approached others. I suspect the next rns will clear it all up. Still the SP suffers though.

Certainly explains how the MMX buy was done at 6p when the MMs knew they had shed loads at 5.72p. Cant imagine the sale is anything other than necessity e.g. tax bill or something. If it's because he wants out then were screwed because all the ICM holders are probably going to follow suit. Again cant help thinking the buy was because they knew this was coming. No one will admit it but people talk its as simple as that..

SB good point but it wouldn't be the first time these statements have been made and events that follow coincide with other events that no one knew about! This is the aim after all.

Perhaps the buyback was engineered to counter a sell that maybe a big holder had previously notified the board was coming.

Appear to be increasing their position here. Curious movements. Maybe there is a deal on the horizon or the directors and lenders (the same people) are engineering themselves as the sole creditors for some future arrangements that leave SHs out in the cold.

How did they manage to get 500k of shares at 6p. Most sells yesterday were 6p or over..

I completely agree with incentive driven options but they should have some skin in the game. Personally I think the management are doing a good job operationally but salaries of +300k for an aim company that is only just finding its feet seem over the top to me. Assuming the buy back shares will end up back in the management pocket, subject to SP gains again somehow seems quite underhanded. If we get to 11.8p then I will take my profit and run. Most aim company's I've invested in the directors have fleeced investors and coined it in.

Naively I got the impression Toby wasn't cut from the same cloth but the targets are dropping and their remuneration rising so I have to admit it leaves a bad taste personally.

Sunday, so the rest of what I've said is correct ? if they are not using their own cash where do the shares come from. share sub\issue ?

Hopefully they can stick to that approach. I think the April presentation was suggesting $67 a barrel was the number they have done the numbers on.

ok thanks for the info. Regarding a placing the last RNS seems to suggest there is a real chance that some element of finance will be from further share issue and dilution.

"The Company's preferred route of financing is to conclude a transaction with an industry partner on terms that are favourable to shareholders, and that may obviate or minimise the need for further equity financing. However, depending on the terms of the asset-level deal achieved, it may also be necessary or in shareholders' interests to raise a portion of the additional finance via the issue of further corporate equity".

I have watched the investor presentation and as always this shows a promising proposition without any highlighting any obvious pitiful. Obvious holes there is no funding yet which i assume will be a placement\dilution and a mix of borrowing. Assuming the cash is quick to come, has the company given any realistic indication of the lead time to get the drill equipment on site and ready to start? The proposed drilling start of Q3 seems optimistic when no funding is in place and presumably no contracts or orders in place ?

Personally I think the issue with luxe is the name itself. its not catchy and has no relationship to crypto so people find it difficult to relate. imo of course

YHAL my experience of consolidations always ends up with the shares tanking from the new higher price. Granted the companies i refer to were not sound in the first place but its as though the underlying valuation was irrelevant and the prices always ended up back to where it started keeping them in the penny stock category.

Dandee.. a balanced view and sensible suggestion. I also believe TH is doing a good job operationally but shareholder value is definitely missing so someone to help him with that would be welcome.
