anyone ever been in a co that gets taken private. Where do you stand as a SH. Not saying that is happening but what is the process and risks of such an event?

a bit strong I should have said, I cant see any healthy return for SHs in the near term barring some buy out or major shift in approach on how the business is promoted. I'm sure someone in the past mentioned that TH had a marketing background? if so then wow..

It pains me to think about selling at a loss but there just appears to be no interest in SHs. Maybe IIs just look at this as a long term play that may or may not yield a buyout so they are happy letting in languish in their portfolio. My time frame was a year or so and 2 years in the co is far better placed but seem incapable of converting that into shareholder value. If we get to Sept and they really offer no return in the form of dividend or some other practical use for the cash. I cant see any future return for SHs

they keep banging on about how the business is proving predictable revenues so why not put their money where their mouth is and announce a divi ahead of time. This would be a sign of confidence and would deffo push the SP up imo...

I really don't get an RNS release on a Friday. If you have good updates surely it is better to get these out at the beginning of a week not on a Friday when all is forgotten by lunch time. If you want some momentum to build surely a Monday is better.

Bang on, there is no presence, we just seem to fly completely under the radar and it seems intentional. really strange

There must be a fair bit of cash in the bank now so surely it would be difficult to make more excuses not to share..

The last couple of days have seen consistent sells and I think the SP reacts to that more so than many others because there is normally such a low volume. If anyone in the company does ever feel the need to spark some interest I think it will rise as quick as it falls. I hope we get a buyer soon as this painful, bizarrely we are one of the sectors who should be benefiting from this crisis but still nothing...

I certainly cant buy at the moment and been trying for 20mins... seems odd given the price drop..

not quite, they are saying they have done a deal for distribution if the vaccine works. its got to work first.

Any placing at the current SP would be a complete killer and frankly be the end of my investment here. I would hope that a cash generating company with no debt would be able to find other means for financing without diluting existing holdings. I hope you wrong on this front.

Bolivian, where were we told trading was fine on the 4th May. Are you referring to the Purchase of own shares RNS. If so doesnt this reference the year end results to end of 2019 not the last 3 to 5 months ?

could be ICM holders getting out following SJL. Can't deny, I am seriously considering getting out now and taking the hit. The lack of any regular updates just feels like an insult. This is a listed company but feels like there is simply no accountability to shareholders. The work in the last few years has been fantastic to the get the company on a good footing but it feels like there is no understanding or perhaps desire to add underlying SH value. The salaries involved here are not mickey mouse and I'd expect a far more corporate approach. So many AIM stocks are full of directors paid stupid salaries for very little. I've never put MMX in this category but more recently its starting to feel more and more just like all other aims stocks.. I am really surprised those II holders are not asking more serious questions.

SB - ah I see. Thanks. LSE doesn't seem to show all latest RNS for me since the site was upgraded so I'm flipping between ADVFN and trying to reconcile albeit clearly misreading the CG RNS. Some crazy MMX ramping going on over there, talking about news of an acquisition etc. Not that I'm grumbling. This could do with a good ramp.

the other buyer. So looks like the main IIs continue to build their holdings here. Again a good sign that they still see value even in these times.

thanks that's reassuring to know, hopefully others don't panic at your exit. Its possible those IIs see your sell as their opportunity to buy up at a good price... I certainly agree we are just at the beginning of further market declines but thinking the main losers will be your traditional businesses on the high street and that tech business will come out less affected and perhaps even stronger as people turn to tech to sell and operate their business. Who knows. Clearly you are very successful and have great timing. I tend to have terrible timing so maybe now is the time to exit :) . My target here is 9.5p which is frustrating given how close we came recently at 8.3p but there you go.

Either way good luck for the future and enjoy the view from the other side. A good place to be at the moment that's for sure :)

someone just bought 10m worth of shares in this company and I very much doubt that was done with a view to losing money. Arguably this is good news depending on the buyer. I personally felt this was just a matter of time and now we may be looking at a holder with longer term goals which could provide a bit more stability. Maybe, just maybe (wishful thinking) the new owner of these shares comes with new opportunities for both potential buyouts or better SP value adding activities. I wonder how many will duck out in the coming weeks through fear of SJLs departure being based on a better inside knowledge than the regular shareholders. But it seems there will be taker for peoples shares at these prices.. gla
